Let me teach you ran repeatedly though Lucy's head, that was all she could think. She pondered how someone could teach her how to love. Whenever Lucy heard the world 'love', she always thought of Loke. He was the one who made it unable for her to love again. She wondered it if was possible, but she kept telling herself that it was impossible.
She felt a small buzz in her pocket, someone had texted her.
Hey Luce, come to South Gate Park.
Only one person called her Luce, Natsu. She was confused on how he got her number, but he was weird like that so she let it go. She rolled her eyes and walked to the park. South Gate Park was the staple of Magnolia. It was a beautiful park, a large tree was directly in the center.
When she walked to South Gate Park, she saw Gray, Erza, and Natsu waiting underneath the tree. She was confused on why they were all gathered together. "What's the big event?" Lucy asked, walking toward her friends.
"Can't we just hang out as friends?" Erza asked with a heartwarming smile. Even though Erza said it with a smile, it still made Lucy feel awkward. She could feel her cheeks lightly heating up, but not too hot.
"Oh, yeah, okay." Lucy said, touching her warm cheek.
"So, where are we going?" Gray asked as she shoved his hands into his pocket. He was always persistent and rude like that.
"We're gonna go eat at The Antique," Natsu said, motioning the three others to follow him. Lucy remembered The Antique, she and Natsu once ate there before.
Lucy felt a little awkward hanging out with Natsu, Gray, and Erza all together. She felt like some sort of fourth wheel. The three seemed to have already been good friends, she just felt out of place. She never told them that because they would automatically tell her she was wrong, so she ultimately thought it was useless.

They arrived at the café. Once again, Lucy was in love with it. She pointed to a different window booth. Natsu and Gray walked up to the counter to order the food while Lucy and Erza sat down. Lucy sat next to the window and Erza sat across from her.
"Have you been holding up well?" Erza asked. Lucy was confused, if anything she should be asking Erza that question because of Jellal.
"What do you mean?" Lucy asked, placing her chin in her palm and resting her elbow on the wooden table. Erza laughed to herself and placed her elbows on the table as well.
"You've been hanging around Natsu and Gray a lot, I'm worried that they'll rub off on you too much." Lucy never heard Erza joke around before, she was normally very serious.
"Are they the plague or something?" Lucy chuckled to herself as she unfolded the napkin with her fork, knife, and spoon inside. The boys walked over to the table and sat down with the food. Natsu quickly stole the seat next to Lucy.
"Talking about me?" Gray teased as he tossed his hair. Erza unfolded her napkin as well and got ready to eat.
"Kind of," she said, taking a bite of her bread roll.
The four ate together like one happy group. While they ate, Lucy didn't feel like a fourth wheel, she felt wanted and joyous. She never really had friends like this. She felt comfortable around these three college students.
"So Gray, Juvia, huh?" Natsu teased as he bit into his sandwich. Gray accidentally spit his soda all over Natsu's face. Natsu groaned and wiped his face down.
"I've heard of Juvia before," Lucy said, taking a sip of her chai tea. "Not much though, what's she like?" Natsu and Gray stayed dead silent, not wanting to talk about her.
