Dean woke up to the sound of someone pounding on his door.

"Dean, wake up! I want breakfast!" Sam yelled from the other side of the door. Dean groaned and sat up in his bed. He looked at the small alarm clock on his bedside stand. 5:43. Dean groaned again before getting up and walking to the kitchen. When he made it out of his room he saw Sam sitting at the kitchen table, reading a page from his Latin book Dean had gotten him for his last birthday. He then saw his dad slumped on the couch in the living room, clearly passed out. There was an empty beer bottle hanging from his hand and he was slightly drooling on the cushion. Dean rolled his eyes at the sight.

He walked over to the stove and turned it on. The heat felt good against his cold hands.

"So, do you want pancakes or waffles?" Dean asked Sam. Sam paused from reading to look at Dean.

"Dean, we only have frozen waffles. We need to go shopping today." Sam said. Dean sighed and opened the freezer to take out the frozen waffles.

"I know Sammy. I'll go food shopping after school okay?" Dean replied. Sam nodded his head and went back to reading. Dean finished heating up the waffles and handed Sam three. Dean took one and left two for John when he woke up. When they finished eating Dean took their plates and put them in the sink. He then grabbed his jacket and the keys to his '67 Chevy Impala and he and Sam headed out the door.

When they got outside Sam got in the passenger side of the car and waited for Dean to get in the car. Dean opened the drivers side door and was about to get in until he noticed a boy coming out of the house next to his. The boy didn't seem to notice him, he just kept walking down his driveway with his hands in his pockets and his head down. He seemed upset.

"Dean, are we leaving or what?" Sam yelled from the car, snapping Dean back to reality. The boy seemed to have heard Sam because he picked up his head and made direct eye contact with Dean. Dean held his stare until he heard the horn of the Impala. Dean jumped and looked down at an impatient and slightly annoyed Sam. When he looked up again the boy was gone. Dean got in the car and started to drive to the middle school to drop Sam off.

Hey people! Okay so this is my first fanfic and I just wrote all three of these chapters in one night. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with this story yet. I can guarantee that I will update as often as possible, but seeing as I'm going to take a few college classes over this summer Monday's through Thursday's I don't know when I will be able to. I will work out a schedule when they start but anyway... I hope you guys are enjoying it. Bye!
