The Car (2)

(I changed it so that they are little boys like Ty is 14 and Adam is 16 otherwise Adam living with his dad is kinda sad...)

We moved out of the middle of the street and apparently were both heading towards the postal station.

"So, Ty," I began akwardly. "Thank you for saving me..."

"No problem." he replied. "Want to hang out some time?"

"Sure."

"Where do you live? I could ask my big brother to drop me off at your place sometime." That's when it fell silent. Ty turned to me. "Do you not live anywhere?" he asked, quietly. Almost like a whisper.

"My father disowned me this morning." I say even quieter, looking at the floor. I felt my cheeks get hot and saw a tear drip from my face. I was immediately embraced.

"It's okay. You can move in with me if you want." He said. More tears spilled from my cheeks. What would his parents say?
