We headed up to our room-- second floor, rooms 205 and 207.
"Mitch and Jerome share a room, and Newt and I will share a room." I said, tossing room 207 keys too Jerome, who dropped the keys. Mitch laughed.
"Smooth."
"Shut up!" Jerome shoved Mitch a bit and Mitch laughed again. I turned around and opened the door to see a room with two huge beds, a small kitchen, a desk, and a huge window.
"Oh my god." Newt said.
"Wow." I awed. This was much better than our small, cramped rooms at the orphanage. Newt walked over to one of the beds and sat on it, nearly disappearing in the fluff.
"It's so bloody soft!" Newt said, surrounded in mattress fluff. His mouth was partly covered by the blanket on top, so it sounded more like "Eats soberly shop!" I laughed and walked over to the other bed, sitting down and sinking in.
"You're right." I said. This was probably the most comfortable I've been ever. All of a sudden, my eyelids felt like my eyelashes were trying to lift twenty pound weights and I slowly closed my eyes, breathing in the scent of hand sanitizer and cleaning products.

Knock knock knock.
I groggily opened my eyes to find Newt asleep on his bed. Someone was knocking at the door. I stood up reluctantly, not wanting to leave dreamland. I walked over to the door and rubbed my eyes to see Mitch at the door.
"Hi." Mitch said. I glanced over my shoulder at a clock and saw that it was 6:00 pm.
I turned back to Mitch. "Hey." Mitch gave me a nervous glance. "Is everything okay?"
"May I step inside?" Mitch asked. I nodded and stepped aside as he walked in, closing the door behind him.
"What's the deal?" I asked.
"Don't you think it's suspicious how a hotel cost this inexpensive and has such good features?" I paused and thought.
"You're right." I said. "It is suspicious."
