Out luggage was strewn over the floor.
"Do you think she'll find us?"
"I sure hope not." Mitch responded. The sudden thought of this all being for nothing made me second guess myself. With a shake of my head, my eyes lit with determination.
"Let's go." I said. Mitch nodded and we all grabbed our bags. We took a bus to the other side of town and exited. A man was on the bench at the park that we exited at.
"Should we talk to him?" My friend Newt asked. "After all, we have no idea where we are.
"Okay." was the only thing I managed to say before the others pushed me towards him. "u-uh... hello...?" I asked more than greeted.
"Hey." He said, continuing to play games on his phone.
"Can you tell us where a cheap hotel is?" I asked.
"Corner of Fourth and Fremont."
"Thanks." I said, going back tithe group.
"So, what did he say?" Asked Mitch. I repeated what the man said.
"That's not bloody helpful." Newt muttered. "We song even know where that is, and it's getting dark out."
