"What? Did you think we were at church or something? We're not doing charity work here, just kill him and be done with it." Namjoon ordered the person he was speaking to the phone.

"Daddy! Daddy!" Taehyung called, looking for his father.

"In my office." Namjoon said.

The young boy ran into his father's arms.

"Daddy, uncle Yoongi is waiting for you in the bunker." Taehyung said before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.

Namjoon brought Taehyung to his room, before heading downstairs to meet his brother.

"We gotta talk about the problem Jin's presence is presenting for us." Yoongi said without even greeting him.

"Jin doesn't seem like a problem to me." Namjoon answered.

"Don't be stupid. He controls everything that goes on in Korea. There's nothing we can do against him."

"So? We may not be as powerful as he is but we have more international ties."

"True but we chose to operate in this country and I refuse to have anybody above us." Yoongi argued.

"What do you have in mind?" Namjoon asked.

"We need to form an alliance with him."

"What? Why?"

"We need the kind of alliance that will give us access to his ressources." Yoongi answered flatly.

"I see but if we do that, we'll also be giving him access to our resources." Namjoon retorted, skeptic.

"Yeah it's a risk, I'm still tryna figure that out..."

"Right so how do we form an alliance like that?"

« A partnership. »

« Excuse me. »

« A partnership. A contract that would put all chances on our side. » Yoongi explained.

«You realize that to hold such a contract with him we'll need to trust, right? You sure you wanna risk it? »

« You know just as well as I do that we'll never be able to trust him. But if we play it right, we might be able to manipulate his ego enough for him to think he has the advantage. We'll appear weaker than we are, that'll keep him in his comfort zone so he won't be too suspicious. And than it's just a matter of negotiating to get him to sign the contract. » Yoongi reasoned.

« Not too sure we'll pull it off too be honest, but I'm curious. It'd be remarquable if we succeeded. » said Namjoon.

« Good cause we have a meeting with him in two hours. Yoongi informed him, knowing he had accepted his proposition.

« Oh so you knew I was going to accept! » Namjoon laughed.

« Yup. Come on we can't be late. »

« Met me just call someone to watch over Tae and then we'll go. »

[ At Jin's manor ]

They got out of the car and saw one of the most luxurious manors they had ever seen. Not really surprising considering who it is that lived in it. The two brothers had heard a lot about Jin causing Namjoon to be quite apprehensive of this meeting. He was highly respected and feared and was also known to be a bit of a psychopath. However he wasn't afraid of him. Namjoon knew his worth.

They are welcomed in by who they assumed was the butler. He guided them to Jin's office where the boss himself was waiting for them.

« What do you want? » Jin asked, not even bothering to face them and greet them.

« We have a proposition for you. » Yoongi started.

« Talk. »

« We want to form an alliance with you. »

Jin laughed.

« And... who are you? »

« We have something you don't. That's all you need to know for now. » Namjoon answered.

« Hmm... an alliance, huh? How do I benefit from that? What are those things that you have that would keep me from shooting you right this moment? » Jin asked viciously.

« We know you basically rule over the entire country. You are very powerful, there's just no denying that. But your problem if I may say so, is that you only operate in Korea. On the other hand, we may not be as powerful as you in the country but we have more international ties. If we joined forces, we would be powerful enough to rule over all of East Asia at least. » Yoongi explained.

« And what kind of alliance do you offer? » asked Jin. The audacity of the men in front of him had peaked his interest.

« We were thinking of a partnership to which the terms would be sealed by a contract. Seems reasonable enough and it's the safest way. » Namjoon explained.

« It's...interesting. But how do I know I can trust you? You show up here, like the strangers you are, and ask me to sign a contract with you. I have no way of knowing if you are men of you word and I have not witnessed those international ties you speak of, with my own eyes... » Jin interrogated.

« It's true that you would be going into this with your eyes closed as I'm sure our word means nothing to you. That's a risk you would have to take, I suppose. But that doesn't scare the great Kim Seokjin...would it? Listen, you've got enough employees working for you that would take pleasure in killing us if we were to break the contract. So if you think about it, we're taking a bigger risk than you here.

Jin stayed silent, still sat at his desk, visibly thinking everything over. A few minutes later, he spoke up.

« Very well, I accept. But let it be clear, if I learn so much as a rumor of your betrayal, I'll make sure your lives become a living hell...because killing you would be an act of mercy. » Jin threatened with a dark look in his eyes.

Namjoon and Yoongi looked at each other and simply shrugged, quite unbothered by Jin's threats. They stood up from their chaired and went towards the exit. While Yoongi was already out in the hall, Namjoon stayed at the doorway and looked back at Jin.

« That threat you just made, remember it goes both ways... Our next meeting to discuss the terms of our contract will take place in the following weeks. I'll give you all the necessary info in a couple of days. »

Without waiting for Jin's answer, Namjoon left the office to get back to his brother.
