Chapter 8

Once they arrived at the manor, Yoongi took Hoseok's suitcase and took him inside. Namjoon who was in the living room with Taehyung, saw him enter.

"Wait for me here, Tae. I'll be back in a minute." He told his son.

"Yes Dad." Taehyung answered, keeping his attention on the book he was trying to read.

Namjoon walked up to his brother who was crouched down in front of Hoseok.

"There, go in the living room, there's another kid you can play with." Yoongi told the kid.

"Cool, thanks!" He answered with a big smile.

The two men watched as he ran towards Taehyung before Namjoon turned to face his brother.

"Yoongi... you brought him here? Why? What are you gonna do with him?"

"I'm going to keep him with me. He'll stay here with us just like Jimin and Taehyung. I couldn't leave him alone, not after what we did to his parents." Yoongi explained.

"What do we care if we killed his parents? That's our job! Not too long ago, you were ready to anything! Nothing could stand in your way! But ever since the alliance with Jin you've been acting like a bitch..." Namjoon said accusingly.

"I'm not the one acting like a bitch, you're the one who's lost all rationality! I would've never have killed his parents if I had known he was still alive! Besides, it doesn't matter if you don't like him being here, I'm not asking for permission. He stays here, end of story." The older brother retaliated.

"Does Jin know?"

"I didn't tell him. He doesn't need to. He's not my boss and I'm quite capable of making decisions on my own. Our alliance is purely professional...right?" Yoongi said with a smirk on his face.

"Mhm, so what, now he's your son or something? 'Cause not to be rude but that kid seems way too happy and optimistic for someone like you. You're gonna ruin his life." Namjoon said as he looked at Taehyung and Hoseok laughing together. He couldn't help but notice that he hadn't seen his son laugh like that in a long time.

"Sure 'cause you're such an exemple of good parenting..." Yoongi laughed.

"Don't. I raise my son however I see fit. The education he's receiving is in his best interest. You and I both know that."

"Then why do you get nervous whenever I bring it up? You're not fooling me Joon. I know it breaks you to see your son so miserable but you still make him go through that training because you would rather have him become your heir than see him happy. The "education" you're giving him is in your best interest, of his." Yoongi said, looking straight into his brother's eyes.

Namjoon stayed silent for a moment before speaking up again, calmly.

"I'll let Jin know that he's here. Be back in a sec."

Meanwhile, the two kids we're getting to know each other.

"So how did you find yourself here?" Taehyung asked with a smile.

"Yoongi brought me here, he told me he would take care of me until my parents returned." Hoseok answered.

Taehyung's smile disappeared. He had lived in the manor for a little over 6 months now and had learned that things in his family were never what they seemed. He wasn't sure but he guessed Hoseok's parents would never return. His new friend interrupted his thoughts.

"You live here too, right?"

"Yeah uh.. Yoongi's brother is my dad."

"And your mom where is she?"
