I suddenly woke up. All I saw was darkness. It was like everything in this world was black, it suffocated me this black, but then I heard a voice. "Honey are you awake" said the voice.
Then I realized it was my mother speaking to me. "Mom, mom why is everything black?" I questioned.
"Oh, baby-doll don't you remember"
My mother asked. then it all came flooding back to me, I had had my eyes removed. You see I have eye cancer, and it had gotten so bad they had to take out my eyes. I was diagnosed with eye cancer when I was ten. The doctors went into an intense surgery to save my eyes and believe it or not it worked. But, recently my eyes hurt so much my parents took me to my doctor and it turned my cancer came back (not like it had ever gone away though). So that brings you up speed on what's going on in my life, by the way my name is Emma.
"Emma" my mom said " the doctor us here"
"Emma, how do you feel" Dr. Sclectiv questioned.
" Like crap" I replied.
" Well, you will be able to go home next week because, we are going to put you in rehab so you can get used to being blind" Dr. Sclectiv said. Blind. I hate that word right now it means I will never see the world again. I am only 15, being blind means I will never get to drive. In plain it sucks.
