Huh I sighed, today had been the best day of my life. I felt like I was Cinderella coming home from the princes ball. I started dancing around the room but ran into Coffee who had patiently waiting by the door for me to come home. " Mom, Dad I am home!" I yelled in a singsong voice.
"We're in the kitchen." my parents yelled back. Slowly but surely I navigated my way towards the the heart of our home; the kitchen. When I walked through the boundary of the living room and kitchen I was greeted with a heavenly aroma that could only be my fathers homemade lasagna, my favorite.
" How was your date?" My mother asked.
"Fabulous, Jacob took me out to the middle of lake centuries on his uncle's speedboat." I breathed
" Well that sounds amazing, I hope you don't mind that we made Lavish Lasagna." my father said. If I could see I know my father would be smirking when he asked about the double L, he knows that is one of my most favorite dishes in the whole wide world.
" Do you want some" my dad said chuckling.
" Heck to the yes!" I practically screamed. I guess my parents had predicted this answer because after answering them they lead me to the dining room, handed me a fork, and told me to dig in. As fast as lightning I inhaled a gigantic piece of Lavish Lasagna and my mouth almost died.
