After his epic battle with the Vulture and the resulting events that followed, Peter Parker aka Spider-man finally has time to relax thanks to the start of their summer break. His friends have gone with their families to travel to their pre-planned summer destinations including his best mate Ned.

For Peter, it's his first day to have the chance to sleep in and recuperate, but that doesn't mean he can sleep all day and not eat anything. Aunt May makes sure of that.

"Peter? Peter? Time to wake up. It's 10 am and you haven't had your breakfast yet," Aunt May called.

But there was no answer. Aunt May thinking his niece might have gone AWOL again to be Spider-man, goes to his room to check. She knocks on the door.

"Peter? You need to have breakfast."

Silence.

Concerned, she twists the doorknob and swings the door open. To her relief, there was Peter sleeping like a baby. Aunt May proceeds besides Peter's bed and puts her hand on his hair and ruffles it.

"Peter, time to wake up. I've made breakfast."

Peter opens his eyes, still sleep drunk. Seconds later, he fully comes into his senses and sees Aunt May. He jolts and immediately pulls the blanket up to his abdomen as he was just wearing boxers.

Aunt May smiles and remarks, "It's alright, it's normal especially with all the changes your body's going through."

"Come join me for breakfast when you're ready," she reminded Peter as she closed the door.

Just as it clicked, Peter puts his hand on his face embarrassed.

"Ugh, that was embarrassing. What is wrong with you," he thought to himself.

He then decisively got out of bed and fixed his sheets. Afterwards, he grabbed his towel and went for a shower.

About half an hour passed and he finally joins Aunt May for breakfast.

"Good morning."

"Good morning. Here have some eggs and bacon."

"Thanks."

Peter sits down to have his breakfast.

"So, where do you wanna go this summer? We can go to Sicily."

"I think it'll be good to just spend the first week here."

"Okay, I understand. So, what will you be doing for the mean time? How about Mr. Stark? Did he invite you to anything?"

"You know what, he actually did but I refused."

"Why?"

"I'm happy here."

"Ha, that's sweet."

Peter turns red just as Aunt May made that comment. They continued chatting while enjoying their delicious breakfast.

Peter's idea of relaxation isn't really getting sun-tanned at a beach with a drink on his hand, instead he prefers to resume his local neighborhood superhero duties.

"Aunt May, I'm gonna go now."

"Where to?" Aunt May asks worryingly.

"Neighborhood?" Peter replied.

"As Spider-man?"

"As Spider-man," Peter smiles pleadingly.

"Okay, but just be safe."
