One Week Later, Friday

"Hyungie don't leave me with Sicheng hyung!" Yesung whimpered, grasping Taehyung's leg and looking imploringly up into his eyes.

Taehyung chuckled and picked his little brother up, sitting him on top of his suitcase in the hall. "I have to go, Yesung-ah. Besides, you'll have lots of fun with hyung!"

He lied like an expert.

"Eomma and Appa will be back tonight anyway," he decided to reassure his brother with that particular piece of news after stressing him out with his optimism.

Yesung visibly relaxed and he grinned. "Eomma!" He yelled excitedly, trying to get up so he could jump up and down on the suitcase.

"Hey! Calm down! You'll make hyung mad if he hears you! He's taking you to nursery this morning so don't make him angry, okay?"

Yesung calmed and sat down again. "Hyung?"

"Yes?"

"Why does Sicheng hyung keep talking bout Jimin hyung in an angry voice?" Yesung frowned curiously.

As far as Taehyung was aware, Sicheng hadn't seen Jimin again since the Friday before last. If he had then it was news to him. He couldn't help but feel disappointed though. Nothing else had happened between himself and the teacher since their little chat about Yoongi, and Taehyung was getting frustrated with the lack of movement in the situation with either of his love interests. Yoongi had been busy practicing for a big basketball game which had happened on Wednesday, and then on Thursday he'd spent the day in the music room with Mr Kim finishing off a piece for his coursework, so he hadn't had the chance to hang out with him all week. That was part of the reason why this trip was so important.

"What did hyung say about him?"

"He said Jimin isn't going to text him because he's being too con... conserate... conseradit-"

"Considerate?"

"Yeah! He said Jimin is being too consi - what hyung said - to the brat."

Taehyung frowned. So Jimin is not going to text Sicheng because he's being too considerate to 'the brat'? Was the brat him?! So Jimin was being considerate towards him? Of his own accord? Or was it just an excuse to get away from Sicheng? Probably. He couldn't let himself get hopeful.

He gave his brother a final hug and set off for school, dragging his suitcase along behind him. Jungkook was walking in from the car park at the same time.

"Are you ready for the best four days of your high school career?!" The younger bounced up and down, having to use Taehyung's shoulders to keep himself from tipping over in excitement. "You can spend time with your boyfriend and I get to see Hoseok hyung every day! It's gonna be AWESOME."

Taehyung rolled his eyes. He was more nervous than anything about this holiday. Since Jimin was going, he was worried that it would be awkward to be with Yoongi all the time, especially since he couldn't get the teacher out of his mind. He kept remembering those few dates they'd had and how it had felt to rest his head on the elder's warm shoulder.

"Are you not looking forward to it?" Jungkook had stopped smiling now and was frowning worriedly. "You were the one that got us these places - God knows how - but you can't not want to go!"

Taehyung shook his head with a smile. "No, it's nothing. I am excited. I'm just a little anxious about what Yesung and Sicheng hyung are doing to each other right now."

Jungkook chuckled. "Chill, Tae. That kid could defeat Sicheng in a heartbeat! Even Hoseok hyung is scared of him."

When all the students had arrived, they all stood around the courtyard in their friend groups, chatting away to each other excitedly about what they were going to do on the trip. There would be tours of places because it was a geography trip, but it was also a holiday so there would be lots of free time.
