I'm finally at the freaking hospital waiting for them to let me in. I look around the waiting room for a seat but alas there is none.

"Alexandra Harrison, you may go to room 4E." Then, the lady, whose name i have forgotten, gave me a map of the whole hospital.

Following the map's directions I finally arrived at 4E in about 8 minutes. The door is wide open so I awkwardly step in with style. The first person I see is Cameron who looks so pale it's ridiculous. I might just start calling him casper.

Now is not the time you dumbass. Ouch, conscience I almost forgot you existed.  I look to my father who's eyes are red. My mom is laying in the hospital bed staring at the ceiling.

"Oh Alex, you came fast."  My father is the first to acknowledge my presence. After that everyone turns their head to look at me.

"First time she's early for anything." Cameron muttered.

"Yeah like you're any better with your little druggies." I snapped. I don't think now is the time, Cameron. Acting like I'm not close to my mom. I'm going to tear him to shreds.

"Stop acting like children. Your mother is... she isn't well."

"My gosh, Mrs. Harrison is this your daughter?" A man with a clipboard strolled in. He looks fam- oh, sexy Andy.

"I would appreciate it if you wouldn't check my daughter out, thanks." My dad scowled. Andy's sharp gaze flickered towards my father.

   "Of course, my apologies."

    "Mhm." My father grunted out."

"I have the results from the little tests they were doing and well, we don't know what's happening to her." Andy frowned but his eyes sparkled. Oh come on someone else has to see this bs he is doing.

"What?! You can't be serious! You're a fucking doctor! All you can tell me is she's dying?! This is fuc-." My father cursed. Oh my gosh, he is so pissed.

"Dad, let him talk maybe he knows something." I raised an eyebrow at Cameron. Look at him pretending to give a fuck. Suddenly, Andy snaps his fingers and my brother freezes with his mouth halfway open and eyes in the middle of a blink. I wave my hand in front of him but he doesn't move. I grin. I grab his right hand and curl all his fingers except his pointer finger. Then, I put his finger up his nose and take out my phone and take a picture of it.

"Ahem." Someone behind me clears their throat. I slowly turn around and find Andy still in uhhh.. motion.

   "Oh, what happened to them?"

"How come you're not quaking with fear?"

"Weird shit has been occurring lately. I'm amazed I'm not insane."

"Riiiiight. Uh, as you may remember. I said something about your mother."

"Yup." I said popping the "p".

"Why did you give me your number?"

"Cute guy. Grabbed that opportunity." I shrugged.

"Well, there is a way for you to save her."  He continued after looking at me as though I have two heads.

"Really? How?" He was honestly starting to tick me off. How dare he come in here and talk about doing the impossible when he himself has no idea what is going on with my mother! My hands started to burn. I breathed in and out slowly.

"Well, I am Lucifer. Whatever the hell you humans call me today and as you have heard those damn rumors I do like negotiating and making deals. So, you save your mother and you stay in Hell. With me." He grinned.

    "Uhhh."

   "Come onnnn." He whined.

"I kinda don't believe you. You can be the angel of death."

"Do. Not. Compare me to that fucking nut headed lying slimy snail." He snarled.

"Not compar-." He raised an eyebrow at me.

   "Yes or no."

   "I dunno."

"Your mother's life is at stake."

   "Ok but-."

"Less than a day to liiiive."

  "You're an asshole."

   "You're indecisive."

"I'm sorry I don't want to burn in Hell."

  "You're not going to burn."

    "Really?" I scoffed.

    "Really."

"So, what we are going to the beach down there?"

"Not really. Sure, if you want. But I should let you know it gets really hot down there." I never face palmed so hard.

"Fine, can you please heal her?"

"Sure, just sign this." An old document appears in front of me out of thin air and a feather with a little container of ink floats beside it.

   "What is this?"

"A contract." I raise an eyebrow at him and he sighs.

"You are basically letting your mother live and then your soul belongs to me. No biggy." He shrugs. Shrugs.

"No biggy? Oh yes, I will love to be in Hell for all of eternity."

"Great, then sign." His smile brightens.

   "That was-."

"Your mother belongs to Hell and by you signing this contract you take her place."

"Why would she even belong to Hell in the first place?"

"Some things... are better off unanswered." I stare at him for a moment. Most selfless thing I'm going to do. I grab the feather dip it in ink and sign my life away. My soul away.

"Why would you want a human like me anyways? I'm boring."

"Oh, darling. I'm going to say this only once. Even the Devil gets a little bored. Loneliness can tear the most hated creation to pieces."

   "Deep."

"Exactly. Tata, my love." With that he disappeared and everything faded.
