Chapter One: Runaways

It was a silent afternoon at Sapphira's home town of a Saturday. Everyone was at their jobs or hanging with their friends. While Sapphira's grandmother, well, she was out getting various wine, booze and other alcohol of sorts. The living room was the same as it was when Sapphira left into her new friend's and boyfriend's world. But the box and DVD with its case that had been thrown away by her grandmother for the same reasons as the last one.

Suddenly rainbow of lights came from the TV out came, Sapphira, Mata Nui, Kiina, Ackar, Gresh, Berix, and Click, who was still on Mata Nui's shoulder. Sapphira landed gracefully on her feet while the others, well, not so much landing on their feet happened.

Sapphira looked around, and she instantly recognized where she was at. "Shit." she swore aloud to herself as she looked around the living room of her home. "My child, we must get out of here with everyone, and quickly." the bracelet told her.

Sapphira looked at the bracelet on her wrist that had brought her to her friend's and boyfriend's world and gave her the Ice Toa powers she has now. "What, why? What's going on?" she asked it making the others who were now standing up look at her concerned.

"I sense her coming...." the bracelet told her. "Who? Who's her?" she asked it, both confused and concerned. "Your grandmother." the bracelet said.

Sapphira's ocean blue eyes widened with shock and fear. "Shiiiiiit!" Sapphira yelled as she began to panic. "Who is it that's coming?" Gresh asked her. "My grandmother, and I don't even want to even THINK of what the hell she could do to you all." she told them.

She ran her hand with the bracelet through her messy, knotted, oiled up dyed hair. She looked at them again. "I'm going to my room to get some stuff, you guys, try to get to the back door." she told them. "What the hell is a back door?" Kiina asked, confusion lacing her voice.

Sapphira face palmed at that and her stupidity. "Shit, I forgot you guys don't know my world stuff." she muttered to herself before she looked back at them. "Just, stay here and don't touch ANYTHING! Ok?" he told them.

They nodded in response, "Good." Sapphira said as she then booked it upstairs to her bedroom.

She slammed her door open careful not to startle the others, she grabbed a large duffel bag she had bought in case she ever finally ran away from home away from her grandmother.

She packed up as many clothes as she could, her old school iPod with millions of songs on it, batteries for it, her earbuds and extras, her wallet with money in it along with her debit card, her hair brush, her old baby blanket from the hospital and her only picture she had left of her and her parents.

Her grandmother had burned them all except for this one. It was from the day Sapphira was born..Her mother was in the cot holding the new born Sapphira smiling brightly, her father was next to her wanting to hold baby Sapphira also, and the new born Sapphira was sound asleep as she was swaddled in a soft, fluffy, pink blanket.

She felt a year trickle down her face making her wipe her tears away and then put it in her bra feeling her pocket knife also. "How the hell did I actually forget that was there?" She asked herself aloud. She shook her head since now wasn't the time to think on that.

She zipped up her bag swinging it on her back and ran downstairs. She made it back to the living room seeing the others were looking at her from hearing her rushing footsteps.

"Follow me, we gotta hurry!" she told them which they nodded and followed her to the back door and went outside. Sapphira closed the door behind her to cover her tracks, as then she began to climb over neighbors fences into their yards as the others followed behind her.
