Chapter Two: When Things Go Unplanned

Sapphira woke up in a much better mood than what she was before, granted that she finally managed to get sleep in her system.

Now Sapphira having enough of the dirt and dust in her hair, on her skin and the smell of her days old worn clothes, wanted nothing more than to clean up. Since the Chateau had no water or power-with it being abandoned and all-she had find a nearby water source, which she did.

At first she was hoping Kiina was able to go with her, since she was the only other female of the group and Kiina would able to make sure none of the guys spied on her.

When Kiina wasn't able to, she had no other choice of who to have go with her-

Sapphira raised her head to the surface of the water again, shivering slightly. "Fucking Christ, I managed to get warm last night and here I am, freezing my ass of once more because my hygiene was a must." Sapphira vented to half herself.

"I am aware of that Sapphira, but remind me why, you had me come along with you?" Mata Nui asked her as the said Great Spirit faced away from the water the organic woman was in since she was bare.

Sapphira rolled her eyes at that. "Because, my first idea was Kiina since we're both females and it would less awkward, but she had the plan to clean up the base a bit and get some firewood to make some fires in those old fireplaces, I don't trust the other guys to be respectful enough to NOT look, though I know Ackar is, it would just be completely awkward for the both of us more than it is with me and you." Sapphira explained to him as she ran her hands through her hair to rid the dirt and dust from it.

She knew it was awkward for herself and Mata Nui in this situation since they haven't been dating for that long, but she knew he would be more respectful of her privacy than Gresh and Berix and it would be less awkward than if Ackar had come since she practically saw the Fire Glatorian as a father figure at times.

Sapphira had the bracelet off-surprising enough that is was able to be taken off-so it seemed less awkward while doing this.

Sapphira looked at Mata Nui from where she was in the water, deciding enough was enough. "I know your uncomfortable with this Mata Nui since we've been dating for what, a couple of weeks? I understand that, if you wanna go back to base, I-"

Sapphira was cut off from her words hearing Mata Nui speak. "I understand you wanted someone to accompany you so you didn't have your fears of your grandmother finding you out here and what could happen if none of us were here to help, so I am staying." He told her, closing his eyes, relaxing slightly.

Sapphira looked back up him from cleaning her hair, a small smile slowly spreading across her face. "Thanks." She said softly, Mata Nui almost missed it but heard her.

"GAH!" Mata Nui felt something jump into his chest, knocking him from the rock he was on into the water. Sapphira's eyes widened at this, "MATA NUI!" she yelled in alarm, forgetting the tension between her and the Great Spirit as she swam to him.

Mata Nui breached the surface of the water, shaking his head to get the water from between the Mask of Life and his face. "Mata Nui are you alright?" Sapphira asked him, once she was at his side. "I am fine Sapphira, though it felt like something had jumped into my chest that caused me to fall." He told her, then looked at her.

Their tension returned causing Mata Nui to shoot his head away from Sapphira and the organic woman to cover her chest as her face flushed a dark red as she looked away.
