"Felix Tucker and..." Ms Cooper said, pausing to cough. "Sorry... Felix Tucker and Royce Skine; Amelia Ross and Patrick Turner; and finally, Caroline Jenkins and Alex Hustle. Alright, the list is done. You have been assigned to your partner. You all know what to do, so get to work." She said and looked down at her clipboard, writing on it. Felix's heart began to race after hearing that Royce was his partner. He tried to calm his heart down by gulping down some water, but it did not help for long, as he saw Royce walking towards him. His heart began to speed up and his palms began to sweat. His knees started to shake as he neared, Felix's heart pounding in his head. Seconds later, Royce was by his side. He was able to smell Royce perfectly. The mix of spearmint, aftershave, and a mysterious scent-- possibly a new scent? Each scent took over his whole body. Felix kept his eyes on the wall, praying and hoping Royce was unable to notice his own nervousness. As if sensing how nervous Felix was, Royce took his water bottle out of his hand and closed it, setting it down on the floor before it spilt, their fingers slightly grazing against each other, which sent his hand into a tingling shock, his body burning up.
"Felix..." Royce said, pausing as he looked at him, not taking his gaze off of Felix. He looked up at Royce, his cheeks beginning to dance with warmth. God, he was so beautiful. He was so perfect, from the freckles that danced against his skin to his chartreuse green eyes, the light from the open windows bringing out the gold in his irises. Felix quickly looked away and continued to stretch, knowing that if he looked at Royce any longer, he would faint, or at least have some sort of overload, causing his body to collapse. "Felix, please talk to me... I- I want to hear your voice," he whispered, moving closer to Felix. Why? Why does he want to hear my voice? "It has been a long time since I have heard it, Felix. I miss it.." he said as if he was answering Felix's silent question. He took a deep breath and looked up at Royce, his forest green eyes full of eagerness. His heart stopped, his eyes piercing into Felix's. Royce looked down and with a deep breath, quickly grabbed his wrist, pulling Felix towards the teacher. Felix walked close behind him as he was being pulled along, the pressing touch against his wrist only causing his heart to flame up more.
"How may I help you?" Ms Cooper asked once they reached her, Felix's body pressing harshly into Royce's as soon as he jolted to a stop, his heart roaring in his chest; any more of this close contact and Felix's heart would surely explode.
"May we use Room 402 for the rest of the period to work on our dance?" Royce asked, the grip of his hand tightening around Felix's wrist.
"Sure, just write your names on the clipboard under the room number. I will check on you halfway through to see how far you have come with your progress." Ms Cooper spoke and tucked a strand of her brassy brunette hair behind her ear, walking off and helping other dancers.
Royce began walking again, speeding to the table near the door. Felix ran behind him, groaning quietly as he pulled against his arm. Jolting to a stop once again, Felix ran into him, his forehead crashing into the back of Royce's neck. He stepped back as far as he could and rubbed his forehead, pushing his messy hair out of his face, his eyes darting around the room as he felt eyes on the both of them. Royce tilted his head back and cocked his eyebrow, his eyes travelling down Felix's figure, which caused more warmth to dance against his cheeks. Shaking his head, Royce finished signing the paper and pulled on Felix's wrist again, leading the both of them towards the designated room.
"Royce, let me go!" Felix panted out once they entered the room, finally breaking the silence between the two.
"That is all you can say to me after all this time? If so, then no. I will not let you go." Royce yelled and pushed Felix up against the wall, his back grazing against the cold mirror. He groaned and gripped Royce's wrist, his heart pounding heavily in his chest. Royce slid his arm up Felix's stomach and bunched his shirt in his hand, his breath hitching. He pushed Felix further into the mirror, another painful groan escaping his lips. His eyes squeezed shut as Royce pushed him, fully shocked at how close Royce was to his body, his skin dancing with even more warmth as the two were merely close to each other. Unholy thoughts tried their best to slip into Felix's mind, causing him to squeeze his eyes tighter, as he did not want to be having sinful thoughts at the moment.
