People..
Midoriya stood in front of the bullied boy, shaking and raising his fists in a fighting stance. He was scared, and that fear collected into a tight ball into his heart. The fear weighed down on his heart, telling him to run, but he would not give in. He would protect his equal.
"Enough, Kacchan! You already made him cry, so stop it! I won't let you hurt him more." Midoriya's tiny voice shouted, laced with uncertainty.
"So Deku, the Quirkless Wonder.. Thinks he can play hero, huh?" Bakugou sneered, while small explosions danced around on his small, calloused palms. His lackys laughed behind him, letting out a few words to encourage Bakugou.
Are not born Equal.
Midoriya let out a small sound of surprise as bakugou's lacky with long fingers snuck up behind him, holding his head in place as Bakugou let a flaming fist hit Midoriya's cheak.
That's what Midoriya learned at the ripe old age of four.
But compared to what would come, this would only be a minor setback.
- 10 years later..
"Wow, a mutant villain!" Izuku Midoriya, now aged 14, said casually to no one in particular as he watched the fight go on. A huge shark-like villain was fighting Kamui woods, locked in a intense battle. Other heros were keeping the crowd at bay, and making sure no rubble hit the people.
"GET AWAY!" The mutant villain shouted, swiping at Kamui woods. Just that swipe alone caused a noticeable difference in the faint breeze that blew through, blasting the crowd with a wall of air.
Stumbling from the air blast, Midoriya recovered and continued to watch the fight, listening to the gosip being passed around.
"Turning into a monster? What a crazy Quirk!" One man said, snapping a photo.
"He tried to steal a purse and started rampaging when he got cornered." A news reporter said into her microphone.
"Sorry boss, a villain's in the way, i don't know when i'll able to get to work." A tired man said into his phone.
Kamui woods perched himself onto a column, raising his hand to face the villain. He muttered what was probably a move's name and multiple branches emerged from his arm and attempted to cage the villain.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake as a Giant horned lady shouted "CANYON CANNON" before kicking the mutant in the face. The villain promptly fell, while paparazzi swarmed the crowd, snapping photos of the lady while she explained her debut. She was called Mount lady, and Midoriya immediately started a new page in 'Hero analysis for the Future #13" for her.
"Giantfiation, huh? It's a common and quite powerful quirk, but could the threat of public property destruction limit its use? Well, it depends on whenever she can manipulate her size at will but.." Midoriya muttered on, getting him odd looks from some of the dispersing crowd.
"Taking notes? I guess you wanna become a hero yourself. Good luck!" A man with coral-like horns sticking out from his bald head said, smiling at Midoriya.
Midoriya looked up, grinning. It came off unsettling to the man, but he didn't say a thing. "Thanks." Midoriya said with a deadpan voice while the man nervously laughed and walked away.
Midoriya stared, confused at the man's actions, before realizing he would be late to school.
He quickly mentally slapped himself at this realization before running toward the direction of school.
