The two sat in silence the rain trickling down their faces, neither of them spoke after their exchange in 'I love yous' they just started at eachother. Matt stood up and faced out towards the city.
"I really don't know what the fuck we're gonna do Wes."
Wes stood up behind him and said nothing.
"I mean I could just...leave." He gestured towards the cityscape.
"I could pack my things and go..be out of your life and you wouldn't have this problem ever again."
Wes's breathing quickened.
"P-please no. Please don't leave me Matt." The last thing Wesley wanted was to loose Matt, the two had grown so close and been through so much over the past few weeks.
"Matt you know about how much you mean to me and how much I love you-" Matt cut him off and turned to him.
"Wes you can let me go you can find someone better I promise there's more out there for you you don't need me." Matt had tears in his eyes and his words were sharp and harsh. He meant what he was saying.
"Matthew please...please don't go I beg you, I'll do anything.." Wes held his hands but Matt slid them out of his grip.
"I..I'm sorry Wesley." He walked away from him choked up, stumbling in the pooring rain.
"Matt please....I love you please don't leave me.." Matt didn't answer. Wes fell to his knees as Matt descended down the stairs back into the building having just left him on the roof, on his knees in the pooring rain. Empty.
Ian hastily searched around the office for the two boys and he was about to go to the roof when he noticed Sohinki, tears running down his face as he sulked down the stairs. Ian didn't hesitate to go to his aid.
"Matt. Matt." He stayed silent. Ian grabbed Matthew's shoulders.
"Matt talk to me bud whatever going on?" Mat shook his head. That knot in his throat grew tighter and tighter.
"Matt where is Wes?" He pointed up indicating he was on the roof. Sohinki sharply pulled out of Ian's grip on his shoulders and walked to grab his bag and leave. Ian didn't know this and ran up the stairs to find Wes.
"Wes!" Ian ran to Wes, skidding on the stone floor as he kneeled down to Wes who broke completely in his arms.
"Wes talk to me, it's going to be ok." Ian's words were smooth.
"No! No it won't!" Wes coughed and sniffed. He ran his fingers through his hair, collecting it between them to move it out of his face.
"Wes, hey what happened?" Ian tried to keep his calm but deep down he was stressed as fuck.
"Matt is leaving. He is f-fucking leaving me!" Wes choked when he tried to breath in.
"He doesn't want t-to be-be here anymore! I begged him to stay but he d-didn't listen!" Wes couldn't stop crying. It was endless.
"I can't go without him. I feel s-so em-empty..."
Ian pickled him up under his arms and coaxed him inside to wear he could sit him down inside the warm. Just as they got inside Wes spotted Matt about to press the down button for the elevator.
"Matt! Please!" Wes shot up and ran towards him, tripping over himself. Ian followed. He wasn't going to let Sohinki just up and leave.
"Matt! Please stop! Please don't go!" Matt clenched his teeth together as he held the hood of his purple sweater up.
Wes and Ian weren't fast enough though. He got in the elevator as fast as he could, the doors closing right infront of Wes. He banged on them as he cried, begging them to open so he could see Matt one more time.
"Matt please don't leave..."
