Drunk

"Please wait up Namjoon! Please don't confront him!" Jin shouted with desperation. "Please I don't want to be a bigger burden on him!" Namjoon halted and turned around slowly with an expression that sent shivers down Jin's back.

"Burden?!" Namjoon stated seething with rage. "You dare to call yourself a burden to that brat? Kim Seokjin the entire how many years I've known you, you have been everything but a burden. You are the most compassionate person I know but you have to learn how to stand up for yourself! I understand its out of your character and you're in pain right now, but if you drag this on for too long you will be in even more pain." And that'll cause me pain as well, Namjoon thought.

"I know," Jin began, "I understand but I can't."

"Why?!"

"Because I love him!" he exclaimed as tears welled up in his eyes. "I love him. He is my first love. And I know he is a jerk. More than anyone I know. However, behind and underneath that jerk there is the person I fell for. The dork who laughs at his own jokes. The guy who can make people smile with his bunny smile. The guy that has so much passion to the things he loves. The person that is able to make me smile with the most simplest thing. He is the dorky jerk that I love. And I am the idiot that is drunk on this one sided love of mine." Jin whispered as tears slid down his cheeks.

Unable to withstand Jin's crying, Namjoon embraced him in a bone crushing hug. He knew Jin perfectly well of how he felt but he needed to hear his next words. Pulling away Namjoon looked into his eyes and said, "In order to love someone fully, you need to first love yourself. By learning how to love yourself as well as your faults, you'll be able to clearly realize who is worth your time and love."

As Jin walked home, the words "In order to love someone I must learn how to love myself first" constantly ran through his mind. He was able to prevent Namjoon in confronting Jungkook, but he knew that he only did that because he was the one that has to do the confrontation. He had to go through with it for himself. For Jungkook. He knew he had to become sober in order to learn how to love himself and the only way to do it is to confront him.
