After that painful spring day, Jin couldn't do anything but try to stop loving Jungkook. Jungkook never tried to approach Jin after that day; every time they would meet or cross paths during school they wouldn't make eye contact and pretend they wouldn't know one another. Jin is glad that he was able to put an end to his pain before it got worse. Sure, he still clearly misses him but that's alright. He doesn't wish to forget such a precious person to him who brought him many laughs and great memories. Some days it is tough. Days where he wonder the "what ifs". Days where he isn't able to look into mirror because he is disgusted of never being good enough. Yet, after a while, some days he is able to breathe and look forward to the beginning of something new. Jin isn't able to hate Jungkook and he won't ever be able to. Their love scenario just ended up like that and all that is left is to move on and remember one another as a warm spring and be grateful for the memories.
The ones that helped Jin the most when getting over Jungkook, were Namjoon, Tae, and shockingly Yoongi. The day that he confronted Jungkook was the day he met Yoongi, who suggested to Jin if he also wanted to work on his garden with him as he saw the interest that Jin clearly showed. Upon agreeing Jin and Yoongi scheduled to meet during lunch in the gardens.
With the more time that Jin spent with Yoongi, the more he grew on him. He got used to the occasional gummy smiles, sarcastic comments, and tsundere like personality. Yet the more he got used to it and drawn to him, the more scared and insecure he became. He felt like he still wasn't completely over Jungkook; as every time that he spotted him around school his heart would race even when he tried to force himself not to. Every time he thought he was over Jungkook, he would see him the next day and the cycle would begin.
Jin did not wish to jump straight into having a crush on someone else. He was still hurt over Jungkook. More than anything he was still hung up being a nuisance to someone else. So every time he met up with Yoongi he would try his hardest from falling for his new friend. Since they were barely getting to know each other Jin pushed those thoughts away as he believed that it was just an interest he had taken up on a stranger or more so puppy love.

After weeks of Yoongi discovering Jin in his garden, he never once asked about why he was crying that day. He understood that a stranger didn't have the right to question him and he could clearly see that he was still in pain and healing.
Yoongi couldn't comprehend how someone could make such an angel like person like Jin cry like that. A person who is anything but selfish and cares for someone as lost and weird like Yoongi. With the short amount of time that he has known Jin, he regrets not being able to talk to him sooner. He enjoys his dad jokes- although externally he pretends to hate them-, his mouth watering cooking, and his beauty which is not only externally but internally. The interest that Yoongi has had on Jin ever since he first saw him walking into the library, didn't subside once he began to talk to him and get to know him; it only grew stronger. He is aware that this interest could soon change into something else entirely and he is alright with that but for now he is content with seeing him during lunch at the garden and becoming friends.

The cycle of meeting up with Yoongi and avoiding as well as trying to get over Jungkook became the norm for Jin as many weeks passed. Slowly but surely Jin was getting over Jungkook and that much was clear to everyone. Mostly to his closest friend who was basically tied to the hip to Jin during those difficult times. He was able to see how much of an impact Yoongi had on Jin so without dragging it on Namjoon couldn't help but ask, "So, what's up with you and Yoongi?"
Jin couldn't help but choke as he was in the moment of drinking his strawberry smoothie that he had gotten from the cozy cafe that they were in when Namjoon had asked that. "What do you mean?" Jin replied with a weak voice as he had just gotten out of his coughing fit.
Amused at Jin's reaction Namjoon let out a chuckle and stated, "Well looking at the way you reacted as well as the shy looks that you give one another I would say you are harboring a crush on little mister tsundere."
"I'm-I'm not," Jin stuttered as a pink blush settled on his cheeks, "plus a long time hasn't passed with what happened with Jungkook maybe I'm not ready to like someone else."
Namjoon frowned at that and looked Jin in the eye as he stated, "You know time doesn't tell how you feel. Although many people say only time will tell, well that's not true only you can tell. You can tell when you are ready. There is no alarm or notification that lets you know that you are over Jungkook. It honestly just depends on the person and how strong they are in moving on. I believe that a crush can help in moving on from a heartbreak but that depends on you and how you feel about both of them." Looking at Jin's expression as he began to think about what he had just said Namjoon says once again, "Hey, don't let me tell you what to do just do what you think and feels right only you can tell alright. I just want you to be happy." he punctuated the importance of his last remark with a smile filled with dimples and a hug.
"Thanks Joonie that means a lot." Jin reassured Namjoon understanding that he only meant to help. Which honestly he needed to hear from someone because he was growing more confused with what was happening in his life.
"No problem Jinnie you know I'll always be here for you. Also if you don't mind I advise you to go for Yoongi he's so much better than that jerk Jungkook." Namjoon stated as he took a slurp of his smoothie.
The only thing Jin could do was helplessly blush as he deeply thought on what to do with the advice Namjoon had given him.
