Once Jin got home there was no more distractions. Although he enjoyed Yoongi's presence, as he showed him around the garden, he knew what Yoongi was trying to do. He could see his intention through the worried glances he caught through his peripheral vision. Yoongi wanted to distract him from his troubles and sadness. Although he appreciates the concern and distraction, he now has to deal with it again. By returning to the house full of memories.

The one year of being friends and falling for Jungkook was full of multiple memories. Memories that he couldn't escape from because he lived in them. His house was full of them. They were constantly on repeat.

As Jin passed by Tae's quiet room he could only peer inside and still see the four of them--Jin, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook-- spread on top of the bed in all weird directions calmly listening to music and being surrounded by music. He couldn't help but smile as he looked back on how he had pretended to fall asleep so he could cuddle against Jungkook. At that time he was still trying to accept his feelings for his brother's best friend so when he didn't feel Jungkook push him away and actually let out a giggle he couldn't help but feel hopeful.

Walking away and into his room, Jin was still being bombarded with his memories. Even looking into his closet Jin was able to see the invisible trail Jungkook had left as he spotted a shirt that he had given him. The shirt itself just made Jin smile fondly as it showed two bears, one holding a fork and a knife while the other held up a piece of cardboard that said "Free Hugs." What actually made him stifle a giggle was how he obtained Jungkook's shirt.

One random day Jungkook had called him out of the blue saying, "Hey. Yo I need your help. So you know how I'm broke and all? Well I attempted to cut my own hair and I can't really see the back of my head. I'm pretty sure I messed up because-- well I won't go into details but I'll just say it looks horrible. Anyways can you come over and help me?" Jin could basically see the bunny smile that he had on his face as he wasn't able to stop from laughing while he said that. Without any hesitation Jin had agreed and had shown up at his doorstep but was shocked to see a shirtless Jungkook greeting him because apparently it would be easier to remove the hair that way. Anyways, Jin couldn't help but smile at how the night had ended which was with a hair covered blushing Seokjin and Jungkook who had gained a bald spot from Jin's distracted mind. Although the night was mess, Jin wouldn't ever be able to forget it since he not only witnessed Jungkook's abs but was also given a shirt by Jungkook because he was really itchy and he was never planning to give it back.

Now staring out the out of his window and out onto his back yard, he felt as if he was sucked into the night of christmas eve as they had built a bonfire outside. He remembers the stars and how bright they had been. The warmth of the fire that wasn't even comparable to that of the heat the radiated off of Jungkook. How big and bright the moon was that casted over them making it seem that it was brighter to the sun and Jungkook's smile as he roasted marshmallows over the bonfire. The remembrance of the night sky brought a new wave of memories that consisted of multiple stargazing nights on top of the roof as Jin and Jungkook were left alone to listen to music through the courtesy of Taehyung.

One after another the memories and feelings overflowed. So did the tears. Rolling down his cheeks and soaking his neck and shirt as he said goodbye. Goodbye to the Jungkook who caused him pain. To the Jungkook who gave no reply and left. Not trying to stop their friendship from ending. Goodbye to him but not to his memories who constantly through his mind. He wishes to never forget them and Jungkook in his memories for they were the reason why he fell for him. He wishes to hate him but loves him. He wishes to say goodbye but the memories are on repeat.
