Starscream the Opal

"So you're a piece of rock that has a physical form and you were sent here to kill me?" Megatron asked looking away from her. She nodded. "Yes. The Diamond fears that you will destroy planets that belong to her. If you wish to dispose of me then drive your sword through my gem and shatter me. I deserve it." She said and held out her hand to him crying. She closed her eyes not wanting to see herself being shattered. .......but nothing happened. She opened an eye and saw Megatron gently hold her hand in both his hands giving her hand a gentle kiss. "B-but i..... i thought." She stammered and was hushed by the towering mech. "It's alright, you have no need to fear me. I just want you safe." He said and let go of her hand. He walked out the door and looked back at her with a smile. "Get well soon Opal." He said before closing the door. She looked at the place where he stood only a moment ago. No Megatron. It's you who needs to be kept safe not me. You may not love me but i will protect you. She thought and closed her eyes in sleep.

Megatron walked down the hall to visit Soundwave to speak with him in private. He knew Soundwave won't let him hear the end of it but he wasn't one to spread rumors. He found Soundwave at in the relic room testing them. "Soundwave may we talk?" He asked and Soundwave put down the data pad showing that he was listening.

"I can't believe you haven't bathed since you got here! This is disgusting." Knockout complained as he and Breakdown helped Opal clean herself in the med bay wash racks. "What is bathed?" She asked confused. "It's where you wash yourself and stay clean." Breakdown said as he cleaned her wings. Knockout seemed horrified by all the dirt and grime she had caked on her from her fall but was confused as to why her clothes refused to be removed. Probably has to do with this 'physical form' thing of hers. He thought not giving it a second thought. Knockout left Breakdown to finish her and went to clean himself because of the 'germs'. She laughed as Breakdown dried her, the towel tickled her wires and cables as it was pulled back and forth across her body. Once she was dried and given a final check over she was allowed to leave. She walked down the hall and decided to explore a little while she looked for Megatron. She was walking for what felt like hours when she heard someone laughing their head off. She followed the sound and soon heard Megatron's voice. "Soundwave it's not funny! I am literally falling for a rock! Ugh!" She heard him yell and felt her spark break a little. She peeked into the room and saw Soundwave stand up and brought up a recording on his visor. "Megatron: should make Starscream feel comfortable by making her his Pearl." "Soundwave i know what that means in seeker. I don't think i should go up to her and tell her she's my mate." Megatron sighed and sat on the edge of a table. "I know what i said. But after she told me. .......i don't know what i should do. Am i in love with her or the image of her?" He asked and got no answer. She didn't want to listen anymore and left the door. She found her way back to her room and went to sleep. She had the same dream again of Megatron but instead of a kiss on the cheek he kissed her lips! Once again she didn't know why she seemed so excited by this action since she had never experienced it before. The dream once again ended in a bright white light and she awoke with fear. She cried into her sheets not caring if anyone saw her tears. She wanted him so badly but is seemed that he wasn't interested in her.

The next morning Megatron went to the training room to get his exercise for the day over with and heard someone already in there. He looked into the room and was surprised to see Opal in the room with a blue sword in her hands. He entered the room and she growled at him. Confused he walked over to her and smiled. "You did a good job in training i see." He said and she huffed. "Yeah. Not bad for a rock." She said and walked away from him putting the sword in her Opal, it glowed and seemed to absorb the sword. He walked after her feeling guilty for whatever made her think she's just a rock. "Opal what's wrong? You can tell me." He said and she looked at him and they locked eyes. "Megatron what am i to you? What do i mean to you?" She asked and he smiled caressing her face before planting a kiss on her lips. She jerked a little but soon melted into his kiss, she whined when he let go and he smiled at her. "Call me crazy but last night i had an absolutely insane dream about you and i." He said and she smiled at him. "I've been having the same dreams about you." She wrapped her arms around him making him smile more. "You may be a rock but you're the most beautiful rock I've ever seen." He said kissing her once more as she blushed. He held onto her small form as he felt the shaking of the Nemesis as it entered Earth's atmosphere. "Hold on tight. We've almost arrived on Earth." Earth. ......why does that sound familiar? She thought and listened to his spark beat as she closed her eyes waiting for the excitement to die down.

"By the colour of our diamonds." Opal gasped as she looked out the window. The Earth looked so strange yet so wounderful and different. Megatron watched her as she scanned everything she could see soaking in the view. She touched the window and her Opal glowed as she felt joy flow through her. "What lives here Megatron?" Opal asked not wanting to look away from the scenery. "Soundwave has been studying them. They're called humans, very weak and primitive. They are thousands of years behind us." He said and stood next to her. "Humans. ......i think I've heard the Diamonds talk about them once before. Something about a cluster. ......I'm not sure. It'll come back to me." She said and looked at Megatron smiling. "Could you tell me about Cybertron?" She asked and he smiled. "Cybertron was a beautiful place, unfortunately our government was poison and treated everyone like dirt. They tried to drain our world of its resources for their big projects. I tried to get others to stand up for ourselves, for our world, but when I finally succeeded. ....." He trailed off and thought deeply about what happened. "You were too late?" She asked sadly and he nodded. "They blamed me for what happened even though it was them who had killed our world. That's when the war started, my best friend Orion was on my side believing in my cause. But when he was chosen to be a Prime......he chose being a Prime over our friendship." He said and she gently touched his cheek. "Power can be an overwhelming attraction. I will do all i can to help you get your friend back." She said gently caressing his face. I will protect you. From the Diamonds, from your fears and even your so called friend if i have to. I'll cut them to ribbons, you just wait and see. She thought and turned back to the window. "May we go and explore? I wish to experience the planets beauty up close instead of from afar." "Soon Opal. For now we will stay here while Soundwave studies the coordinates of this world. Come, let's get some Energon. I know you have no need to eat but i do. After i get my cube we'll visit Shockwave to get you up to speed with our technology." He said and she giggled. "Alright Megatron. Lead the way." She said following him closely. ST3V3 looked at Opal and brought over a pair of cubes for them. "Hello Comander Opal and Lord Megatron. I have your morning cubes ready." He said and Megatron took both the cubes. "Thank you ST3V3. That will be all." He said and the Vehicon saluted before leaving. "Let's go, and don't be too intimidated by Shockwave. His curiosity sometimes gets the best of him." Megatron said and gave a cube to a passing female that had a slender form, purple eyes and had strange looking horns on her head. "It seems your people come in different shapes and sizes." Opal said looking at all the mechs they passed on their way to the elevator, she realized that she and the girl they passed were the only females on board. Megatron pulled her into the elevator and punched the down button. "Hold on. The gravity here is different than in space." He said as they quickly descended.
