11. the kiss

It's been three days since we arrived at the mansion and everything has been so amazing so far. On the first night, after settling down and getting our rooms right, we decided to go grocery shopping to fill the kitchen. We're going to be here for three weeks and there's over ten of us so we're going to need quite some food. Afterwards we decided to cook dinner together, well, the people who can cook – me, Georgina, Edwin, Jaydee and Nick. It was kind of like a family dinner, it was really nice. I feel like we're becoming close every day! This trip was a good idea.

"Let's go swimming!!!" A loud voice sounds through the house. Zion's being loud again, nothing new. Within minutes everyone gathers together in the living room and we go outside to the huge pool in the backyard.

"Yo, I never knew your shoulders we're this wide!" Jade says, playfully hitting his arm as we're walking to the pool. "Your chest too!"

"You know, your boy has been working out, nothing too special." He jokes, flexing his arms. Emily caught the conversation and looks at me, I shrug. I mean, they're friends... Friends joke around, right? I speed up my pace to catch up to Zion and Jade and I link my arm with his.

"Hey babe, hey Jade!" I say, trying to hide the feeling of jealousy that starting to creep up on me.

"Hey!" Zion replies cheerfully and gives me a quick kiss on the lips. I know it's just a small gesture but it's somewhat relieving. Maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of this.

Before I realize it, Zion lets go of my arm and jumps in the pool, causing the water to splash on everyone. "KJ, come in!" He yells and motions for me to come in. I jump into the pool, then Jaydee follows and then the rest gradually follows. The water feels cool and refreshing, just what I need. It's been at least 90 degrees every single day since we arrived in Canada.

"KJ!" I look behind me to find Zoe, G and Emily calling my name.

"Coming!" I reply and walk over to them as fast as the water allow me to.

"Girl..." Zoe starts, "Jade has been looking at your man the entire time. Are you sure they're just friends?"

"Yeah, that's what he told me. And besides, he's dating me so how could they be more than friends?"

"Because men cheat, girl." G answers and I can feel my stomach turning. He wouldn't... Right? I look over at Zion, he's with play fighting with Jade. I accidentally make I contact at her and she smiles at me. I smile back.

"You know," I shift my attention back to the girls, "I don't think anything's going on between them. They have been friends for years, Jade and Jaydee were pretty much the first people Zion and his sister became friends with after coming to America. Doesn't it make sense for them to be this close?"

"She does have a point." Emily admits, looking at Georgina.

"I know. I just think you have to watch out for her... Seeing her near him makes my ass itch." Georgina says and we all start laughing.

"Okay, end of conversation. Let's have some fun! Chicken fight?" I ask.

"Yes! Y'all gather around, we're having a chicken fight!" Emily yells excitedly

After forming the teams, the game starts. Round 1 was between me and Zion, and Nick and Kayla, we won. Round 2 was between Austin and G, and Brandon and Zoe, Brandon and Zoe won. Round 3 was between Emily and Edwin, and Jade and Jaydee. Surprisingly, the girls won. Jaydee is so strong, it's insane.

Since we had an uneven number of teams, Brandon and Zoe won the 5th round by default as they ended their game again Austin and G the fastest. Zoe managed to throw G off of Austin's shoulders within 15 seconds and it was one of the funniest things I have EVER seen.
