A/N: I recommend going back and reading chapter 13 before you begin this chapter.

Nurse Thema suddenly shapeshifted into her original snake-like form. "I am Aapep, God of Chaos. I have come for the girl, but you have gotten in my way," she said, flicking her tongue as she spoke.

The snakes around Irene's body constricted tighter around her. "Quiet, Quiet!" The pearly white snakes whispered.

Aapep made her way over to Eliza's bedside, holding up the syringe filled with neon green poison. "Weakness comes from loss of personal attachment. Loss causes distraction and grief. Distraction makes room for traitors and grief makes room for weakness. Weakness will consume him once you are out of the picture."

"Why did you kill him, the doctor? Why are you doing this?" Eliza asked as she edged away from the crazed being.

"I am Chaos, I bring Chaos, I can create Chaos. You cannot stop Chaos. Chaos is used to make weakness," her head moved side to side like a cobra waiting to strike it's prey. "I will kill the organization, and the Night will become powerful."

Aapep went to jab the poison-filled syringe into the woman's skin, only to be impaled by a katana blade. "You are the one who was on the rooftop the other night," Leo stated.

"Indeed I was," she turned quickly, blade still embedded in her flesh.

She grabbed the turtle by the neck and lifted him up. "You are nothing but a puny mortal who wishes to overpower me. You cannot prevent Chaos."

The red clad turtle had snuck into the room as his brother distracted the being. As soon a he cut through the snakes that were suffocating Irene, Aapep dropped Leo with a gasp of pain. "My children! What have you done to my children, wretched creature?"

The bloodied snakes turned into black fog and dissipated into the air. Raph threw a sai at the snake-like woman, catching her wrist and pinning her to the wall. "I will return soon enough!" She spat as she morphed into a snake and escaped the sai; she turned into the same black fog that the other snakes had. The katana sword flattered to the floor.

"Is everyone okay?" Leo asked in a scratchy voice.

"I'm well," Irene said, "just a bit shaken."

Eliza and Raph both nodded. "I don't think we should tell Casey when he gets here," Eliza muttered. "He'll be even more furious if you do."

"I guess. All we can do is use the information that we have to make a plan on how to stop Aapep," Leo said.

As soon as Casey Jones had arrived, he had flipped out upon seeing his family injured. "This is ridiculous! I trust you to protect her for a few days, and she gets shot! I think that's total bull--"

"Casey!" April interrupted him, "Yelling won't solve a thing."

The blue eyed turtle seemed unphased by the man's outburst. "While there have been incidents in which the outcome is unpredictable, she has survived thus far."

"I don't need your poetry nonsense; I need to see Eliza," he demanded.

"The doctors have to give her a check over before she can leave the hospital. As soon as they clear her, you can see her, and we can go back to New York," the blue clad turtle assured.

The redhead tugged on the black-haired man's shirt, "I think we should go wait in the waiting room."

Casey nodded and left, leaving April with the mutant turtle. "I'm sorry about him. He's just worried about her. She's the only family he has left."

"It's okay. I can understand his need to protect his family," Leo smiled before leaving to go visit the nurses station.

"What can I help you with, Mr. Hamato?" Irene asked as she set her pen down and began typing on the computer.

"I was coming to arrange a business deal with you. Would you like a job with Hamato Solutions?" He inquired.

"I'm surprised a businessman such as yourself would approach someone with a job offer. Usually people approach you looking for a job," she said, momentarily stopping to study his facial expression. "Judging by the look on your face, I think you'd prefer I take the job, which I'd be honored to do."

"So, is that a yes?"

"Yes," she stated. "You need to arrange for me leaving this workplace first. What exactly will my job be with you, love?"

"Reading people, of course. You can also work in our medical unit that we have in the tower," Leo replied.

Raph came rushing up to his brother and the nurse. "Dianna, your assistant, was found dead in her house with her children. There were signs of a struggle. Reporters are on their way here to meet with us."

Leo began rattling off orders, "I'll go get Eliza, Casey, and April. Raph, figure out a way to get Irene a job transfer to Solutions. We can speak with the mob afterwards. Once we're done with everything else, then we go back go the houses and pack. We'll set out for New York tomorrow morning."

Three Hours Earlier

The black-haired man sighed, and shook his head. "Dianna Anderson, it's a shame you couldn't provide us with anymore information than what you did," he said, putting his cigarette out with the stop of his black boots.

"I gave you as much information as I could, sir," she replied shakily, glancing to her children playing quietly across the other side of the living room. "There wasn't much else to say about them."

"I know you're hiding something. Go on, tell me." Swipe insisted, leaning forward on the couch.

"I-I don't have anything. I swear," Dianna stuttered.

"Aapep, giver her a little motivation," he ordered the God of Chaos.

Pearly white snakes appeared from black fog and encircled the woman's kids; they hissed quietly. Her children began to let out cries of fear and tears began to pour down their cheeks. "Please, don't do this! I-I can tell you!" Dianna stood from her seat. "Don't hurt them!"

"Then spit it out!" The Night Prowler shouted, kicking over the coffee table.

Dianna gasped and grabbed the man's sleeve before he could inflict harm upon her children. "Please!"

Swipe backhanded her in the face. "I gave you the perfect opportunity to take your place among us! You betrayed us!"

Snakes slithered up Dianna's legs to hold her in place, more came to restrain her hands. Swipe grabbed a pillow from the couch and began to suffocate the assistant with it. Her struggling movements ceased and her limbs froze over with death. He removed the pillow and placed it back on the couch, turning to Aapep. "Kill the kids and leave no evidence behind."
