The group of girls went to the local cafe for hot chocolate and some much needed talks and good books from the library. It was only the afternoon when Compass, Stella, Tori, and Nixie arrived at the cafe. They order hot chocolate and some lunch. Compass sat at the window and a dark shadow stood across the street staring at the group of girls. Compass sat eating her lunch with a bit in her stomach.
The dark figure like shadow was still there and none of the others saw it. As they got up to leave the figure watched. The girls continued to walk and crossed the park to an open field to get closer to the library.
"Whatever you girls do keep her safe." A redhead with green eyes said as she walked close by Compass.
"Artemis, What are you doing here?" Tori asked and soon walked at Artemis' side.
"You are being followed. Take her to my sister. She's waiting at the library." Artemis spoke.
Nixie and Stella nodded and grabbed Compass. Compass was confused and began to struggle away.
"What the hell is going on? I'm not going anywhere. Stop!"
The dark figure became two and walked faster. Artemis and Tori turned around with bows ready to fire. The bows were made from a sparkling light as if they were fairy dust. This was Tori's doing. Compass realised they were under attack. She stopped fighting and began running. The others soon reached the library which was dead of all life. Stella and Compass stood by the front desk as Nixie stopped at the doors.
"I'm going to help them." Nixie said and Stella nodded.
Nixie left as a golden brunette woman arrived to the front desk.
"You're here?" The brunette questioned and Stella replied "Athena we don't have time."
"No we don't. Hailey is working on a portal but you better be ready to fight." Athena said as she came around the desk.
Dark shadows began to rise and pull away from the shelves. Athena handed Stella a sword and got ready to fight. The shadows became figures and charged at them. Within seconds the fight had begun.
"This war has only begun." Athena spoke.
That's when Compass realized what was truly going on.
"Stella they can't get to her. The weapon must remain safe!"
Compass realized this fight was only the beginning. She was the weapon everyone wanted. She's the reason why people are dead. Now the question is, who could she trust? But more importantly, which side is she on?

That's the end of book 1. I will try and work on book 2 to see where it should go. If I don't see it going anywhere this will be a stand alone book.
