Prologue

"I finally made it" were the first words spoken by the pale, red-haired girl as she reached the final step of the DWMA's massive staircase. "Wow... It's bigger than i thought" she said as she lifted a hand to shield her eyes from the blazing sun, the buttons on her red shirt glimmering in the light. "This is it... Today i start my life as a weapon and a DWMA student" she smiled and ran to the doors, her high ponytail and black hoodie flapping behind her and burst through the doors "I'M FINALLY HERE!!" She yelled. All the students and staff in the foyer turned to her silently and only one voice dared to break it.

"Trying to steal the spotlight huh?!" It yelled "Well think again!" The voice came from a muscular boy with spiked blue hair and a star tattoo on his shoulder. "THE REAL STAR IS ME!" he jumped from the balcony above, landing in front of her "BLACKSTAR IS HERE!" He turned to the crowd, laughing loudly. Just then, a fast blur smashed into Blackstar, stopping in front of the girl. The blur was a boy, about five foot ten with brown hair covered mostly by a grey beanie. He wore flared jeans and a grey tank top with oddly spiked sleeves.

"Yeah right!" He said, facing Blackstar, "we all know the real star is me!!"

At that, Blackstar jumped up "you wanna go pretty boy?" he said with a glare.

"The name's Alex" the other boy said, glaring back. The two continued their battle of glares with a spark between them. It only stopped when a tall girl with long black hair and wearing a white dress pulled Blackstar back.

"I can't leave you alone for a second, can I?" She sighed.

"Oh come on Tsubaki!" Blackstar mumbled "he had it coming anyway. Trying to steal my thunder..." Tsubaki sighed and turned to Alex and the girl,

"I apologize for him. Blackstar can get a bit... Showy at times..." She smiled, "oh! I'm third year Tsubaki Natsukasa. And you two are?" Alex was the first to reply

"First year, Alex. That's all you need to know." He smirked "you his partner? You ask me a girl as hot as you is too good for him" he said with a smirk.

Tsubaki laughed nervously "h-he's really not that bad once you get to know him..." The girl, silent until then finally spoke up

"uh.. I-i'm first year Kelsey..." she mumbled her last name where none could hear it.

"Well it's very nice to meet you" Tsubaki smiled "well we better get going" she waived, dragging the resistant Blackstar behind her. Alex turned to Kelsey,

"hmm Kelsey huh?" He smirked, looking her over, "can't quite tell what you look like with that hoodie on" he frowned.

Kelsey rolled her eyes "don't be a pervert. You a weapon or meister?"

"Meister" Alex replied.

"Oh, i'm a weapon" Kelsey said with a smile.

"See ya at initiation then" Alex said, turning and walking away.

"Y-yeah... See you then..!" Kelsey yelled to him. She then turned and walked aimlessly around, looking for any possible friends. She heard a buzz, like an announcement speaker

"attention all new students! Please follow the staff directions to the meeting room for class placement!"

The voice said. Just then, a man with grey hair and glasses wearing a white, stitched lab coat came up to her.

"Are you lost?" He asked, turning the large screw in the side of his head "I'm professor Stein. I'll help you find your class." Stein smiled down at her, then his glasses glimmered "or maybe i should dissect you instead... See what makes you ti--" BAM! A woman came from behind and hit him with a large mallet.
