———

"Lexa!" A scream was heard, and her body twisted to the cause. A ball hurdled her way and she swiftly caught it in the net of her lacrosse stick.

She was swift down the field, her cleats digging into the grass with every step. She spun around an opponent and shot the ball. Her hands tightening around the stick and her arms swinging fiercely. The crowd went quiet as the ball soared through the air. Everyone's breathe was caught as the ball went directly into the goalies net, but through it.

A gaping hole was set in the goalies lacrosse stick and the ball fell to the ground inside the net.

"Holy shit, Woods!" Raven yelled from across the field which caused the entire crowd to erupt in cheers and the whistle was blown, signaling the end of the game.

Raven and Anya were quick to her, Raven jumping onto Lexa's back and smacking her helmet repeatedly with a cheer.

She had won the game for her team.

A smile wide on her face as her whole team surrounded her and the opponents walked off the field.

———

Lexa, as usual, stayed back to pick up the field. The trash, nets, any left over things that would need to be put in the Lost and Found.

It was an hour after the game when she walked into the locker rooms and stepped into a shower.

No one was here and she could easily cleanse herself in peace. The curtain not making her comfortable enough to shower with other people nearby.

As she shut off the water and started drying off her hair, the sound of a door opening caught her attention.

Shit.

She had been so distracted, she forgot to lock the door. She clenched her eyes and hoped they would just grab something and leave.

"Hello?"

Lexa went wide eyed as she realized it was Raven. One of her teammates and a school friend.

"Raven?" Lexa poked her head out of the shower and wrapped the towel around her muscular body.

Raven stepped around a wall of lockers and smiled, "What are you still doing here?" She opened her locker and grabbed her phone.

"J-Just showering." Lexa stuttered, shifting on her feet and not moving out of the shower.

"Oh. Okay!" Raven nodded and slammed her locker shut, locking it.

"Are you okay?" Raven asked as she headed for the door to leave.

"Y-Yeah, just tired." Lexa nodded, clutching the towel tightly to her body.

"Alright, well, good game today, you killed it!"

"Thanks, Raven. You too. I'll see you later." Lexa was quick back into the shower, breathing heavy.

As she slowly calmed down, she exited the shower and brought the towel down to her hips and pulled on a sports bra.

She quickly dropped the towel afterwards and grabbed her grey pair of Calvin Klein's. She pulled them on, going to grab her comfy pair of sweats.
