Wednesday

———

Lexa was shaking, every single part of her, and she could barely see with all the tears clouding her vision. She was driving home already, but she was trying to call Anya.

Assuming she hit the right contact, she hit call and put the phone to her ear. She watched the road frantically.

The ringing stopped and she didn't even wait for a response before sobbing into the phone. "An-Anya, C-C-Costia, she-she cornered me in the lock-locker rooms-and-and I-I-I-she started filming m-me and I didn't have any cl-clothes! Anya, she-she-I can't-Anya!" Lexa was letting out cry after cry, her nose runny, and her cheeks wet with tears.

"Lexa?" Came the light response, and Lexa's heavy breathing, hitched.

"Cl-Clarke. I didn't mean to call y-you. I'm
s-sorry. Shit."

"Lexa, you're fine. Are-Are you driving?!"

"Y-Yeah." Lexa whispered, "I'm not f-far from home."

"What's your address? Text it to me. I'm coming over. I'll be there soon. Text it to me when you're at a stop light or something. Okay Lexa?"

"O-Okay." Lexa complied.

"Thank you. I'll see you in a while, Lexa."

———

Lexa practically stumbled into her empty home due to her dad working late. She didn't bother going upstairs, she just dropped her things and sat on the couch.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Her mind kept repeating, she was scolding herself. She couldn't believe she froze up like that, she could have fought back.

A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts, and she eyed the door suspiciously. A knock came again and then a sweet voice. "Lexa? It's Clarke."

Lexa slipped off the couch, walking to the door and unlocking it. She opened it slowly, just to be sure it was Clarke.

Lexa met Clarke's blue orbs quickly, and Clarke noted the way Lexa's eyes were more bright than any time she's seen them before. The area around the eye was a slight red from the crying.

Clarke's lips curved into a soft smile, "may I come in?"

Lexa stepped to the side with a small shake of her head, allowing Clarke to enter. Clarke took a second to look around before turning towards the brunette.

"Are you okay?"

Lexa looked down at her hands, shaking her head again. "No."

Clarke embraced Lexa with the warmest hug, "I understand what happened Lexa, and that girl will pay for what she did to you."

Lexa nodded into Clarke's shoulder, letting out a whimper.

"Let's go to your room? Where is it?"

"Up the stairs, one on the right."

It took little-to-no time to get up the stairs and in to Lexa's room. Clarke helped Lexa into her bed and sat down as well, more propped up than Lexa though.

Lexa swiftly snuggled herself into Clarke's side, and with Clarke making patterns on the shoulder, the brunette fell asleep in a matter of minutes.

Clarke smiled at the small noises she made when she exhaled, and the way her hands clasped together by her stomach. Lexa was nearly in a ball after a few more minutes and Clarke stood to her feet.
