"Lexa."
The principle opened his office door, letting Finn exit and allowing Lexa to enter. Lexa didn't speak as she entered the office, her eyes cold and body loose.
"Finn tells me that you started the fight. And knowing Finn Collins, I have yet to believe he is telling the truth. Care to explain your side of the story." The principal sat down at his desk, looking at the girl before him.
Lexa hummed, "I thought you were supposed to be a dick." Lexa didn't realize she'd said her thoughts aloud before her eyes widened. "That was supposed to be in my head. Shit."
"It's okay, Lexa. Can you please tell me what happened?" The principal waved a hand of dismissal.
"Yeah uh, so a video of me was leaked and now everyone in the school knows some shit about me that they didn't before. But don't jump in on that. I'm working it out. And Finn Collins decided to start calling me names about it and being all douchebag-y and stuff. Then I punched his ego and he got mad and tried to punch my face. In the end, it was a small fight. Easy win for me. And that's how I'm here now." Lexa gave a smile, bowing from her seat.
"See, that makes sense! You wanna know his story?" The principal didn't skip a beat, he wasn't really asking if she wanted to know. He was going to tell her anyways. "He was all like, 'I was asking if she was okay after the social media post and when I said that I liked her bravery, she got mad. I don't know why.' And his story didn't make any sense! That kid has less of a brain than a rat, I swear."
Lexa started laughing as the principal changed his voice tone to a higher one to imitate Finn. And by the end, she was rolling around in her seat.
"You ain't too bad, Principal Talon." Lexa nodded, extending a hand for him to shake.
He nodded with a smile, "As are you, Lexa."
"I'm not in too much trouble, right?" The girl asked, worried.
"Just walk outta here with a nervous face and go to lunch detention once or twice and you're fine. As for Finn, we'll have a more detailed chat." The principal walked around his desk and opened the door, letting the girl out and having the boy come back in. Lexa then started her walk back to the cafeteria.
It only took a good ten minutes for the whole ordeal, so Lexa was happy she had a few more minutes to eat.
As she pushed the doors open, she stuffed her hands in her jean pockets and walked with a straight face. People stared, wondering why she was back in the lunch room and not in trouble.
"Lexa!" Raven let out an excited squeal, jumping up from her seat to run towards her. "You're not dead!" Raven jumped into Lexa's arms, wrapping her legs around Lexa's waist and her arms around Lexa's neck.
"I was gone for like, ten minutes?" Lexa questioned, slowly wrapping her arms around the girl and started walking again.
"Yeah, but we all thought you were done for." Raven spoke, humming as Lexa carried her to the table.
"Good to know you all had faith in me." Lexa gave a sarcastic smile, sliding into the table with Raven still in her lap.
"It's not that we didn't have any faith in you? Its that we didn't have faith in the school system!" Octavia giggled, tossing a fry in her mouth.
Lexa nodded, making an 'ah' sound of understanding. "Raven?" Raven only responded in a hum. "Can you get off my lap?"
"Why? So Clarke can sit on it?" Raven asked, leaning back to meet Lexa's eyes with a smirk as she moved her hips, rolling them forward.
