I do

I didn't do much the rest if the day. I helped with Judith the most tho and I helped carol some with dishes but I did noting other than that....after awhile I started to notice how empty my hands felt with out my gun it actually kinda worried me that I didn't have it but the fact that James had it out in the world made it ok.

"Sam care to watch her for a few?" Beth asked coming in my cell with Judith

"Not at all take a break she'll be fine take all the time you need" I told her

"Thanks" she said. I knew she helped with Judith so much trying to forget about zack. and that was probably hard on her she's young. I looked at the baby in my lap

"Hi Judith!" I said excited to her she giggled. I lost track of time playing with her we both got tired and started falling asleep I laid in bed and put Judith between me and the wall before we both fell asleep with good thoughts

I heard a laugh and it woke me up. I looked over to see judy gone. wait gone!? I jumped up to see James playing with her in the corner of the cell

"Hey babe" he said looking back down at the baby in his arms.iblet out a sigh in relief. we where both quite as we stared at the baby

"I've always want kids..." he said breaking the silence

I smiled as he looked at me "me to" I say getting up and sitting next to him. I laid my head on his shoulder.

"How was the hunt?"

"It was actually nice"

"Nice?"

"Yeah we didn't talk about killing me if that's what your asking" he laughed

"Then what did you talk about?"

"Mostly you"

"Me?"

"Yeah."

"About?"

"Mostly about how you and merle met. how you helped him and then he pretty much has raised you and then you guys met daryl and group after you long journey here and then the subject got changed to us.."

"Andddd?"

"They actually wished me luck in our relationship.." he said standing up and putting the baby on the bed. I stud up with him

"We also talked about something else.." he said getting down on one knee and pulled a ring outta his pocket "he also gave me his blessing"

"Sam..will you marry me?" I covered my mouth lost for words

I nodded "yes! of course" I say. he quickly slipped it on my ring finger and kissed me

"I've waited for a moment like this all my life" I whispered. he smiled

" I hate to ruin the moment but I need to intervene" I heard dad say

"Daddy!" I say I ran up and hug him "I love you" I say

He smiled "love you to baby girl" he kissed the top of my head "best take care of my girl. she's my only one"

"I will"
