"So I have a surprise" I say to Maggie. she stopped eating and looked at me

I licked my lip and laughed "I uh" I laughed again "I'm pregnant" I said with a smiled

"Really!?" she said. I covered her mouth

"Shhh! I don't want everyone to know yet!"

She nodded. over the months me and Maggie had become good friends.

"Does James know yet?"

"No when they come back he will" I say

"I'm so happy for you sam!" I smile "Speak of the devil"she said pointing behind me, I turned to see daddy,daryl and James wall threw the gates quickly closing them back

"Moment of truth" I say giggling, she smile "good luck"

she said taking another bite

"Thanks" I say I walked over to them, I kissed James "welcome back" I say, he kissed me again and I hugged daddy, before him and daryl both started up the path

"Sooo we need to talk" I say

"Talk?" he says "that's a scary word for a man who's engaged" he said chucking, I laugh

"It's nothing bad"

"Alright, tell you what I'll go get cleaned up and I'll meet you in out cell okay?"

"Sounds good"

I said, he nodded and kissed me

"I love you" he said

"I love you to" I say. he smiled and walked up the path and into the prison, I followed him until I got to my cell, I pulled the test out from under my bed and twirled it around in my hand a couple times I sighed as I heard footsteps coming near the cell I out the test in my back pocket as James walked in

"So what do you wanna talk about?" he said sitting on the bed,

"I have some news"

"Go on"

"I um" I pulled the test out of my pocket, he sat up and looked at me

"Sam.."

"I'm pregnant" I say

"Sam that's great!" he said standing up he hugged me

"We're having a baby!" he cheered, I giggled

"Yeah we are" I say hugging him back. he picked me up and spun me around, once he out me down I said

"Let's keep it on the down low for now tho I don't exactly want everyone knowing.. but I'm going to tell daddy, Daryl and rick cause he's the leader and deserves to know" I say James nodded

"Sounds good" I smiled

"I'm going to go tell daddy and daryl" he nodded

"Want me to come?"

"That's ok your tired. sleep I'll be back in a couple minutes" he nodded and laid down as I walked out. I walked around but couldn't find them

"Hey Carl you seen merle or daryl?"

"They where in the courtyard"

"Thanks" I say walking out, I had to stop and adjust to tech light for a second but I kept waking till i spotted them. I walked over

"Hey baby girl" dad said

"Hi daddy" I said, for a second I forgot why I came out here but then remembered and became.. nervous? "where's uncle daryl?"

"Went on a run with rick and Glenn" I nod "you alright"

"I gotta tell you something"

"Alright" he said putting down the gun he had in his hand and gave me his full attention

"Okay uh well daddy.. I'm uh I'm pregnant.."

"Pregnant?!" He yelled

"Shhh!" I say " I don't want everyone to know!"

He shook his head "your pregnant" he repeated

I nod "yeah" he looked up at me and smiled

"So ima be a granddad"

I giggled "yeah"

"Damn" he muttered with a chuckle

"So your happy?"

"Very happy congrats baby girl" he said hugging me

"I plan on telling uncle daryl and Rick when they get back so could you let me know"

"Sure will you need to take it easy anyways"

"Hold on the mister! just cause I'm pregnant isn't gonna stop me from doing anything"

"Well if the baby won't i will!" he said, I giggled.

"Sure you will" I say walking away

"I sure as hell will!" he yelled back
I only laughed in response.
