Not only am I changing the spelling and punctuation errors but there some parts of the book I'm probably gonna switch up and add some in depth chapters so be on the look out 👀.

My name is Sam and I'm 17, as of today.yeah yeah I'm young whatever, everyone's always bringing up my stupid age. I may be 17 but mentally I feel 35.
When you have a childhood like mine, well....You grow up fast.
There's nothing much to my life story really I've been an orphan since I was around 2, not really sure what happened to my parents, I always assumed they were both dead.
I was in and out of foster homes again and again.

I wasn't a bad kid or anything I was just moved around a lot. Seemed like every family I went to ended up adopting other kids or moving out of state. I never truly understood that. I just summed it up to bad luck.

At the age of 16 I ran away from a foster family and never looked back.
They weren't interested in me anyway. They were only interested in the monthly check and tax write off of being a foster family. I decided then I was better off on my own.

I was old enough to get a job and I could figure everything else out along the way right? I mean it couldn't be that hard. Right?...

I was sitting outside a department store when it happened.

Everything happened so... so quickly...

It all started with the radio broadcast

BEEEEP— BEEEEP— BEEEP

"Attention citizen: A state of emergency has been declared due to a widespread outbreak of a dangerous viral infection causing aggressive, zombie-like behavior. Please remain calm and complete the follow

Seek shelter immediately and Do not engage with infected individuals

This message will repeat."

And then...

The sirens, the high pitch sound echoing through the streets

The helicopters flying overhead.

The... People.. they just started going mad?

The blood.

The smell

The screams

The death.

Everyone in a state of pure panic.

I turned in shock unsure of what to do. Looking all around

A woman in red just across from me screaming for help as a man twice her size tackled her to the ground and started.... Eating her?!

What the fuck

I gotta get out of here. Fuck. Where do I go.
My mind started racing. I'm not cut out for this fuck!!
Just as I started unraveling the man slowly turned realizing I was right behind him

His eyes...

They're so.. blank. So Empty.

His mouth chewing her flesh blood the staining his teeth
He stood and took a step towards me.
