My anger at Tom was so extreme that it propelled me back up to the hill we had arrived at when we apparated. It took me a moment of pacing and cursing to realize I did actually need Tom to get us where we were going. I was not able to apparate because I had never learned. Oh how I wished I had. I would have left Tom by himself in a heart beat.
He shouldn't have been able to apparate either, as Hogwarts hadnt started lessons yet, but it didn't really surprise me that Tom had already mastered it. The wizard was a brilliant one, and I knew he would make something of himself, although I feared what kind of something.
Tom caught up to me after only a few moments and I suspected he had been running, although he tried to hide it. His breathing was slightly labored as he placed calmly up the hill, but it could be from the effort of making it up over the ice. He fixed me with a stern glare as he approached but unlike when I was a calm individual, I stood my ground and glared right back.
"You're upset about the life of that filth?"
"He was a human being just like either of us. Or at least like me, I dont know what you are," I seethe. Tom arches his perfect eyebrow at me, a frown set in his lips.
"He was living like an animal in his own filth. I did the world a favor."
"Is that how you see it? Is that how you see everybody?"
"Do you mean is that how I see you? Everything comes back to you, doesn't it? You want me to declare my love for you. Say that I wouldn't sacrifice you to get what I want. You want me to be sorry, but I cannot. I am not sorry for anything. I've never said I was sorry to anyone because of everything I am, I do not lie...directly." He tacked on the directly as an afterthought. I felt my eyes burn with tears.
"The truth is sweetheart, that I cannot love anyone or anything, and nothing and no one will stop me from gaining more power. I will find a way to defy death and even you cannot stop me."
His words were harsh and they cut me deep. I had always known I was only a pretty object to keep pinned to his robes, but I wanted more. It was the one thing he and I had in common. Our need for more. Out of anger, or pity, or hurt; out of every emotion I was feeling I launch forward and wrap my arms around his neck. I bring my mouth up to his and I kiss him hard.
His arm comes around my waist and he grips me in a death grip as he finally kisses me back. It's even rougher than our first kiss. This one is not staged or thought through, just pure anger and lust...or love bursting out of me. My chest feels tight as a stretched rubber band and I feel more tears roll down my cheeks. We do not break our kiss even as it starts to snow again. Tom keeps a hold of me and turns on the spot, and our kids finally breaks when we are sucked through a tube again as he apparates.
I dont have time to take in my surroundings before he is on me again. At some point I register his wand waving and a cloud of dust and dirt poofs away from the bed that he pushes me onto. His hands roam my body and I let them. My hands mirror his and I dare to venture to pull his shirt from where its tucked into his trousers and run my fingers over his skin.
His bare, hairless chest is smooth and hot despite the coolness of the weather. His clock comes off followed by my own and I unbutton his dark forest green shirt, exposing his torso to my hungry eyes. He didnt have much muscle, but he wasnt scrawny either. His stomach and chest were toned indicating he kept himself in shape, but didnt quite like to work out, and I briefly wondered if he liked Quidditch at all.
Those thoughts were wiped from my mind, however when his mouth moved down to suck on my neck. Something in me jolted and my hips rocketed upwards and ground my pelvis against his. I gasped as he growled in arousal and pressed closer to me. I felt him harden between my thighs and am proud to say that I didnt even blush as my hand travelled down to feel him.
