After Kai yelled we all started paddling to the island but the ocean had other plans. Hail being too smart for us knew what island we saw as she knew where we were when we crashed. “Guys we just saw Italy.” We lost sight of the island in the storm so we’re probably nowhere near it anymore. Everyone got back inside the suitcases and Hail handed out snacks so that we still had lots of food left. “Gracey are we gonna be OK” I heard Iain say. I got out of the suitcase and gave Iain a hug.”Of course we are buddy. I’ll make sure we’re OK’’ “Promise?’’ “Promise” We let go of each other and I switched places with Kai so it was Maple, Hail and Kai and I was sitting with Iain. Soon Maple announced that Kai had fallen asleep. Once Iain fell asleep Maple looked over to me “Do you really think we’ll be OK Grace” “I'm not so sure Maple but we’ll do our best” Hail cleared her throat and spoke “Guys don’t talk like that we’ll definitely be OK” Maple raised her eyebrows at Hail but Hail just shrugged “K whatever you say” Maple added sarcastically. After a few more hours of chatting about random stuff like Gravity Falls, Be More Chill and Whispered Faith (plez no spoilers i'm not done yet) Hail fell asleep. “You should sleep Grace. You need it more than I do so I’ll keep an eye out for land’’ “But-” She pointed a finger and me and sternly said “No buts your taking a nap” “Fine good night Maple” “Sweet dreams” was the last I heard before drifting off into the darkness of sleep.
