Alfred sat down on a bench reading his favorite comic book. It was about Captain America, the most amazing superhero EVER! He was so lost in the comic that he completely missed three people approaching him.

"Whatcha reading loser? Some lame comic book? Wow what a baby!" Gilbert, someone who claimed to be prussian, laughed. Antonio giggled uncomfortable. "No its not! And I'm a hero, not some baby!" Alfred argued back. "Non, you are way to FAT to be a hero! I doubt you could run three feet without collapsing!" Francis taunted. That did it. Alfred was extremely sensitive about his weight. Tears threatened to spill out of his eyes. "I'm not fat!" Alfred shouted uncertainly. It sounded more like a question. "Oui, you are!" Francis teased as he poured water all over the american.

"OI! WOULD YOU CUT THAT OUT?!" A british accent rang through the air. The trio turned around to see a pissed off Arthur walking towards them. A black aura appeared around him as his face contorted with rage. The three friends looked at each other and nodded.

They made a run for it.

"Hey, you okay git?" Arthur asked. Alfred shivered and nodded. It was pretty windy after all. "Y-yeah I'm fine! T-the hero is always fine!" Alfred attempted to sound cheerful. Arthur's parental instincts kicked in. Whenever he saw someone younger than him sad, he couldn't help but comfort them. "It's okay, lad." Arthur said soothingly, draping his jacket over Alfred. Alfred looked up with curiosity. Arthur was so nice all of a sudden, and when did he get that cute?

That was the moment when Alfred knew he had a crush on the brit.
