8/17/18

Seokjin pushed the glass door to the coffee shop. He ordered a strawberry cake and a cup of hot chocolate since he wasn't a big fan of strong coffee or coffee at all. He scrolled on his explore page on Instagram looking for something interesting to appear. His glasses laid on his flawless face and from the reflection of those glasses, he spotted someone's silhouette. The dark blue jeans that she wore complimented her white blouse.

Curious of to who it was, he looked up to her.

A fine maiden was in front of him.

Not any girl, but her.

Hyemi. She didn't smile nor frown at him. Her expression was unreadable. He put his phone on the wooden table and blinked his eyes several times to make sure he wasn't seeing things.

"H-hi, I-I'm Hyemi." She forced herself to say.

"Hi, I'm Seokjin." He replied. A single tear dropped from his eye and made its' way down his cheek. Does she not remember me? I suffered for a whole year over her and she forgot me? Why do these sort of things always happen to me?

"Hey! You over there! You look a bit lonely." She said. Her first words to him had been repeated like a record. "Want to play with me? Let's play a board game!" Tears began to fall from her face as well. It was like having a replay of an old memory that was kept in your heart. She never failed to amaze him just like when they first met, his mind blanked out. They stared into each others' glossy eyes until she broke the silence. "I missed you so much." She choked out and more tears began to fall from both their eyes. Seokjin stood up from his seat and spread out his arms to give Hyemi a tight hug.

"It's really you, Hyemi."

"Sorry." She bit her lip afraid of his reaction. "For leaving you like that."

"It's alright. You're here now." He reassured her.

"And I'll never leave you again."

12/4/18

"Happy Birthday Seokjin!" She stuck her head out of the window and yelled. Yes, out her window. A few weeks ago she had moved to the house next to his. They were practically living side by side.

"THANK YOU, HYEMI!" He stuck his head out of the window and yelled just like how she did. They looked at each other before breaking into hysterical giggles. Then, Hyemi disappeared from his sight and closed the window. Seokjin raised his eyebrows in confusion and closed his window as well. He was about to text her to ask her why she did that but he didn't have to. The doorbell rang and he ran to the door as fast as he could without tripping.

"Happy Birthday!" She said again but this time with a cake and a box which he assume was a present for him.

"Thank-" Before he could finish his sentence, four other people interrupted him.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Yoongi, Soyoung, Tanhee, and Eunji yelled together.

"THANK YOU!" He yelled twice as loud as them and he blew a kiss toward everyone. "You the group back together?" He turned to Hyemi.

"Yeah, they missed both of us so I thought of bringing back memories by inviting them."

"You guys can come in. We seriously have to catch up!" Seokjin sidestepped away from the doorway letting them come in.

---

"So what you're telling me is that Yoongi and Soyoung are dating?" Seokjin let out a small gasp from surprise even though he knew they would one day be a couple.

"Yes, that's literally what I said." Eunji smirked at the couple.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO TELL ANYONE!" Soyoung kicked her shin and pouted.

"Too bad." Eunji stuck her tongue out at Soyoung.

"They aren't the only ones that aren't single." Tanhee turned to face Eunji. "She also has a boyfriend."

"Hey! So do you!" Eunji retorted.

"Her boyfriend is Park Jimin." Tanhee continued.

"And her boyfriend is Kim Taehyung!" She revealed. "You need to step up your game, Seokjin. You and Hyemi are the only ones that are single." Eunji smirked.

"What do you mean I have to step up?" He asked.

"You know."

---

"Hyemi, I need to tell you something." Seokjin said out of nowhere.

"Huh?" She turned to face Seokjin.

"I-I like you."

"What?" Her eyes widened as if she saw a ghost or something supernatural. "Y-you like me? For real?" She asked to make sure this wasn't a joke. He nodded at her.

"I-I like y-you too." She fiddled with the hem of her shirt as she stuttered.

"So what does that make us?"

"Star crossed lovers?"

"Shakespeare must be proud of you saying that."

END.
