(Emma's POV)

I might have sounded mean to Clara but she was the one who got at me, I mean it when I said Jessica was a snake and I am the prey. Why me? Why did she have to take Clara from me huh?

At least you have Nicole and Darren. Clara have no one, except Jessica which is Miss Untrustable. For a moment, I felt sorry for Clara then shook it off. It was her own decision and so what if Jessica helped her get into SS (Spring Symphonies)! That surely does not mean Jessica is trustable! She is a pain in my butt! No wonder Johnson is hooking up with another girl. All for being an idiot Clara-think-you-know-it-all-Symphony-f*ck-you-Anderson.

I got into Darren's Honda car, plain and simple it was. I knew he was going to stop by to pick me up before going for Dinner. How sweet. I smiled at him as he drove towards the direction of Nicole's house.

Moments later, all four of us were in the car. Four because Nicole decided to bring her boyfriend, River, at the last minute.

"So, are your other friends coming?" Nicole asked, she was really excited to meet Clara. I sighed as I told her the truth.

"No, Clara is going off with my enemy, used to be ours and my brother is having a lovely dovely date time. Wait, let me call Eva!" I jumped as I trash up my phone to call Eva.

"Hello?" I heard her floaty sweet voice over the line.

"You want to join Nicole and I for Dinner. Our boyfriends would be there! Bring yours!" I cried out. Eva had a boyfriend but she often kept it a secret and I heard her breathe.

"Got to tell you something but swear to God that you never tell anyone or you would be struck by lightning when you are in the toilet full of spiders." She knows how much I believe in swears and how I hate lightnings and spiders. Good job Eva.

"Yes." I replied.

"Why I never told you who was he is because my boyfriend is Jessica's brother." I heard her say.

Wait--what? I breathed. Oh my holy f*ck. Did I hear it right? The hell of her boyfriend - the guy I dreamt of meeting - the person who brought Eva's happiness and possibly, the only person that ever loved Eva alive. I cannot take this information, I cannot accept my friend dating Jesicca's f*cking brother. 

Now I can clearly see why she did not want to tell me. Sneaky Eva but it occured to me that Jesicca-aka-Horan brother was nice and not mean like her. Jesicca had everything up her sleeve and I bet she was just trying to lure Clara in. That reminded me of Clara's vulnerable times and I realised it was always Eva there for her. Not me. I had no right to call myself Clara's best friend. Eva Horizon Nightingale deserved the title of everything I had. 

Eva had the most beautiful eyes that make everyone lose their sense, even girls. She was that beautiful and her voice is as sweet as a nightingale. Her designs were always number 1 in school and in the public. Designer brands would always beg her to make them designs but she is not the most popular girl in the school. 

Jesicca and I often fight for the title of Queen Bee, I mean it is nice to boss people around right? It is nice for people to follow your every command. I must admit I am popular but Jesicca? She is the one with friends who follow her every order, get whatever she wants and fate never had a throw back on her. So what she lost her family? So what? At least they died knowing she know they love her! My family? It is just broken, it can never be restored. Tears sprung at my eyes and I cut the line off. I was far from the mood to talk with Eva now because she is perfect and I am not.
