Patricia fiddled with the clock shaped locket around her neck. Thin and delicate it was a bit old. She'd taken it out of the jewelry box in Bryan's home the last time she'd seen him. He had been screaming and cursing. His face a mask of rage. She'd known it'd be the last time she'd see him. While he was in the restroom she'd spotted it. He usually wore it at all time but today it sat square in the middle. A picture of a little brown skin girl inside. He'd said it was his mother, and that the locket was the most treasured thing he had. That was when they first met.

When he'd come out of the bathroom she had already slipped it into her purse. She had stripped all the way down. He was just upset that she had told the truth. That that bitch Nirvana was so weak and hurt that he was going to be with her, that she miscarried. But he can't be mad at her for telling the truth. He was going to leave that bitch and marry her. So she stood there butt ass naked, grinning from ear to ear with her arms stretched wide.
"What the fuck is wrong with you? Put on your fucking clothes and get out. "

He didn't mean it. Now that she was looking back at it he just panicked. That's all.
She sat in the plush waiting room chair. Fidgeting as she nervously waited for the secretary to tell her Nirvana had come back.

-

"Up! Left! Left! Flurry!"
Nirvana's coach braced himself as she neatly landed punch after punch into the pads. Today her hands would officially be registered deadly weapons.
"Alright now Van! Go stretch, you're done for today. And congratulations!" He handed her a plastic card with her registration information. He watched her walk away. Mesmerized by the sway of her hips and silence of her steps. She reminded him of an  predator. Strong and lethal, but small. Something like a bobcat. She was on a mission. And he was terrified.

"Hey Sherry, what's up?" Nirvana spoke into her phone, while wiping away water from her body.

"You have a woman and her husband here, they say they personally made an appointment with you?"

Nirvana turned on Bluetooth and began dressing, throwing her hair into a ponytail. "I dont recall having any appointments today but I'll be there in fifteen."

-
Sherry sat the couple in Nirvana's office.

"She'll be up in a few minutes, please have a seat. Would you guys like a water?"

"No thank you." Patricia whispered.

Sherry nodded closing the doors behind her.

Patricia continued fidgeting with the locket, staring into the cameras in the four corners of the room.

"So this is your brother's lawyer?" Jason asked, his head swiveling as he took it all in.

"Yea." She answered dryly.

The door opened "Hi I'm so sorry I'm late how can I he-" Nirvana's eyes narrowed. She crossed the carpet to her desk chair. Her expression was blank.
Jason began to fidget, this woman was beautiful. Uncomfortably so. He felt the erection before he saw it. The white washed jeans she had on showed every curve and dip. The sky blue v-neck she had on hugged her small breast just enough to see the faint outline of nipple rings. He placed both hands in his lap. But it was too late. She reached over her desk offering a hand. "How are you? My name is Nirvana Walker."
He leaned forward andwrapped a large hand around her smaller one. Warmth shot through his body and the erection he had was painfully pushing against his jeans. She smelled good. Like chocolate and spices. When she took her hand back he felt something in his palm. A business card. He quickly placed both hands in his lap again.

Nirvana looked at Patricia. "Is there something I can do for you?"

Patricia looked over at Jason, "Can we speak alone?"

Nirvana smirked "I see no need. We're all about honesty with all parties here. "

Patricia wiggled under Nirvana's gaze. Why did Jason have to come with her?!

"I don't feel comfortable discussing certain..." Patricia trailed off as she noticed Nirvana's gaze fixated on her neck.

"Where did you get that?" She said.

Jason looked over at a Patricia,  confused. "A friend gave it to her to celebrate our engagement."

Nirvana chuckled. "I'll give you ten seconds to give me back my grandmother's locket. With MY baby picture in it, that I gave to MY husband."

Patricia's face went white. Jason shot up from the chair. "Tricia what's she talking about?!"

"I didn't know." Patricia stammered.

"Just like you didn't know he was married right?" Nirvana walked around the desk.

Now Patricia was slightly taller, and had a few pounds on the angry woman. Her gut was screaming run, but her head was saying square up. But now Jason was in her face.

"Are you fucking serious ?! You're cheating on me?! With a MARRIED MAN?!!!!"

"BABY IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!" Patricia sobbed.

" I do everything for you! I pay all the bills! I cook! I clean! I take care of you!"

"But you're not him!" She screamed.

Jason stopped. He looked at the locket around neck. He curled his fingers around the chain and snatched it off her neck.

Patricia gave a strangled cry and collasped.

He put the necklace in Nirvana's hands gently. His face apologetic. He walked past Patricia. "You're embarrassing yourself."

The office got quiet.

"Please...can you just tell him to call me?" She whimpered.

Nirvana walked up to her crouching to her level on the floor. "I'm leaving. You have five minutes to get your shit togther and get the fuck out of my office before I kill you right here, right now."

She straightened and walked to the elevators. When she got to her car she could see Jason running towards her, his hands up.

"Don't panic or anything. I just wanted to know if you were free soon. If you don't mind, because I'm really...lost. I need to know what's going."

He watched her slide into the velvet colored interior. She looked at him, "Call me tomorrow." She flashed a row of white teeth and pulled off.

Jason's heart was pounding, from heart break, lust and fear.
