Chapter 6: The Secret Setup

Kate's POV

"Okay, then Max lets go!" I joked. We walk to Rainbow and Mason and said, "Guys are you going to eat with us!?" Max and I accidentally said in sync. "Yep! Just a minute!" Rainbow and Max yelled in sync with a smirk on their faces. "Why are they smirking?" I whispered to Max. "I don't know..." Max whispered. "Let's just leave" I said. "Yeah we should probably do that" Max said. Max and Kate leave to go eat.

Rainbow's POV

Mason sighed, "Maybe...a surprise date?" Mason winked. I smirked, "How about we ditch them when we eat like they did to us but we keep coming after so long so it's like we never tried to set them up?" I said still smirking. Mason smiled at Rainbow, "Oh yeah." Mason said as he looked at her while nodding. Kate looks over at Mason and Rainbow and says, "Guys, are you going to come eat with us?!" "Yep, we're coming!" Mason and I said while smirking at Kate. Kate leaves as soon as Mason and Rainbow smirked at her. "Ditch then now?" Mason asked in a whisper. I looked at Mason and giggled, "How about we go over there first and then ditch them." I replied with a whisper. "Okey-dokey." Mason said in a whisper and then cleared his throat. I giggled, "Okay let's go!" I yelled. Mason smiles as he took her hand in his grip and ran over to Max and Kate. Mason and Rainbow followed Max and kate while listening to there conversation.

Max's POV

Kate sighed, "Hey Max, When Rainbow and Mason were smirking what do you think they were smirking what do you think they were talking about or thinking about?" Kate said while looking forward. I shrugged, "Who knows, maybe they want to try making out, I guess." I said and sighed softly. Rainbow blushed light pink at what Max just said. Kate looks at Max and said, "Yeah, maybe or they probably want to do something else if you know what I mean..." Kate said while smirking. Mason blushed deeply at what Kate said. I softly laughed and sighed happily, "Yeah" I replied. Kate sighed and then started to smile. "Hey Max, what are we doing with our lives. I mean we have graduated high school but how did we even get to know each other." Kate said with a giggle. I tried to think about the time we first met, "Maybe...I forgot but maybe it was like in first grade when we met each other?" I replied with a shrug. Kate sighed, "I don't think we were in the same class but I do remember Rainbow always talking about you and I also remember Rainbow pushing us together and saying "Now kiss!". Kate giggled at the fact Rainbow used to do that. Mason softly laughed at Kate and max's conversation, then looked at Rainbow with a smile. Rainbow looks over at Mason and stares at his while trying not to laugh.

Mason POV

I tilted my head at Rainbow, "What?" I asked in a curious way. Rainbow didn't say a word. Rainbow kept staring at Mason while moving an inch closer to Mason by the second. I felt a blush appear on my face. "Rainbow?" I asked again, "What are you doing?". Rainbow still didn't say a word. Rainbow just kept staring at Mason until she was up to his ear and said, "Mew..." very seductively. I blushed at Rainbow, "R-Rainbow?" I asked nervously, trying not to let Max and Kate see me blush. Kate and Max turned around and then looked at Mason and Rainbow. "Shh Mason... I need you to do something." Rainbow said. "W-What is it?" I asked even more nervous as a faint blush remained. Rainbow leaned into Mason's ear and said, "Stop playing around and get up so we can do the plan" Rainbow said then smiled. I nodded and my blush faded away, "O-Okay" I said quietly. Rainbow burst out laughing causing everyone in the waterpark to look at them. I felt embarrassed as I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. Max and Kate turned back around while Rainbow was still laughing and Mason was still embarrassed.

Kate's POV

Max looked at Kate, smiling softly, "The lovebirds are at it again." Max whispered to Kate. I looked down, sadly frowning, "Yeah, they're going at it again." I sighed. Max frowned at Kate's frown, Max sighed and looked down too. Mason looked at them and saw their sadness, Mason grabbed Rainbow's hand and dashed off. Kate looked behind her to see Mason and Rainbow nowhere to be seen. Rainbow runs with Mason to the side of the waterpark and then spies on Max and Kate. Mason smiled, "This should fun!" Mason told Rainbow. Rainbow hummed in response. Max looked around, "Where did Mason and Rainbow go?" Max asked. Mason is probably doing the thing somewhere with Rainbow. she said as she smirked at Max. Max looked at Kate, "Why are you smirking?" Max asked. "I'm smirking because they could be doing the thing right now..." I replied. "Thing?" Max asked slightly confused at what Kate is saying. "Max you should know what the thing is..." Kate said while giggling a little bit. Max blushed and nodded, "Oh, t-that." Max said and felt embarrassed. I giggled and punched Max's arm playfully, "Well if they are doing the thing then they probably won't be back for a long time." I said. Max nodded with a faint blush, "Y-Yeah." he said and rubbed his arm softly. I looked at Max and smirked, "Max are you okay..." I said in a high-pitched baby voice. Max nodded, "Y-Yeah of course!" he replied nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck. Kate giggled, "Are you sure...because it seems like you're embarrassed right now..." Kate said seductively and was walking towards Max inch by inch. "Kate...?" Max asked nervously as he felt he blush become darker. Kate giggled as she was still walking towards him slowly. "K-Kate? What are you-" Max asked as he couldn't finish over the embarrassment and nervousness he had. Kate kept giggling, "Hey Max, remember the time you kissed my cheek at the pool..." I said. "Y-Yeah," Max said and nodded, "What about it?" he asked. Kate kept walking towards Max until he was at the edge of the pool and then kissed him as they both fell into the water. Max was surprised as he swam to the surface and looked at Kate, blushing. kate swam to the surface as well and giggled.

Max's POV

I felt embarrassed, "Kate....what...what...what was that for?!" I asked. "Well, Max I did that because you listened to me and helped me and because you're straight up handsome." Kate said while blushing. I blushed more, "R-Really?! So your saying y-you like me?" Kate looked at Max and said, "Then why did you think I kissed you!" Kate said blushing harder because of how loud she actually said it. I blushed darker, swam over to Kate, and kissed her deeply. Rainbow and Mason tiptoed over to Max and Kate without them noticing. Mason watched while smirking as he held Rainbow's hand while Rainbow just looked at Kate and Max squealing and trying not to get Max and Kate to notice her and Mason.

Rainbow's POV

Mason smiled at Max and Kate and crossed his arms while he watched them. I crossed my arms as well. Kate stopped kissing Max so she could breathe and after she stopped to take a breath, she saw Rainbow and Mason with there arms crossed, smirking, and looking at them. Max saw them as well and felt embarrassed. Mason softly chuckled, "Having fun?" he asked them. Kate smirked and looked at me and Mason, "Did you have fun?" she replied. I blushed lightly because of something Kate said earlier. Mason blushed lightly, "Uh...yeah?" Mason said unsurely. I felt me turning into a red tomato because of what Mason just said. Kate looked at Rainbow and giggled at the fact Rainbow knew what she was talking about. Kate stopped giggling and looked at Max, "Max, we should get out of the pool." she said. "Y-Yeah" Max said while still blushing. Max and Kate get out of the pool. "Guys we should probably go home now...unless we have a sleepover at my house!" I yelled. "Yeah! Sleepover!" Everyone said in sync.
