Chapter 10: The Date

Note: Kate and Max are already BF and GF and this book also doesn't make sense!
9:16 AM
Rainbow's POV
Mason is driving Rainbow to her house. "Mason What should I wear on our date?" "I don't know just wear something cute?" Mason said. "Okay Mason, I will wear something that anime girls would wear!" I said sarcastically. "Um...okay you can wear what anime girls wear..." I said. "Mason! I was being sarcastic!" I said. "Oh..." Mason said. "You would look really sexy if you did..." Mason mumbled. "Well, Mason if I look sexy in anime clothes then maybe I will wear some anime clothes." I said. Mason blushed and said, "How did you hear me!?" "Mason I'm a cat! I can hear a lot of things!" I said. "Oh..." Mason said.
Mason drops Rainbow at her house.
"Thanks, Mason!" I said. Rainbow goes inside and takes about 3 minutes of getting ready for the date
9:19 AM
Rainbow's phone buzzes. "Hm, I wonder who texted me?" I questioned. "Oh! It's a text message from Mason?" I said. I read the text message. "Rainbow I hope you're ready for our breakfast date! I also have a surprise for you!I'm on my way to pick you up!" I read out loud. " Rainbow texted Mason. "Hey, Mason! I have a surprise for you too! Can't wait to show you!" Mason texted Rainbow back. "Cool!" He texted. Rainbow sighed. "I hope Mason likes Pokémon because Espeon is out of her poke ball and ready to fight!

Mason's POV
Mason texted Rainbow, "Cool!" I texted. "I wonder if Rainbow knows what Pokémon is because flareon is ready to attack! I should probably call Kate and see where we are going to have breakfast...but I can't because apparently, it's not legal to have your phone up to your ear while your driving even knows I was texting Rainbow and driving at the same time...but whatever."

Kate's POV
"Max are you ready yet!" I said. "Hold up babe! This Umbreon can't go outside looking like a mess!" Max said. "How come I'm the one who is done when Max is acting like he needs to put makeup on." I said to myself. "Max hurry up this Vaporeon is going to turn into Glaceon if they don't get some coffee!" I said. "Okay, babe I'm almost ready! Hold up!" Max said. "I swear this leafeon is going to be dead leaves if they don't hurry the hell up." I said to my self.
"I should probably text Mason to tell him we're going to Starbucks to eat." I said.
K - Kate M - Mason

K - Mason, Max and I are going to Starbucks to eat.

Okay! Now stop texting me I'm driving - M

Max goes downstairs. "Okay, Babe let's go!" Max said. "Okay!" I said. Kate and Max get into the car and starts driving to Starbucks.

Mason's POV
Mason arrived at Rainbow's house and gets out of his car. "Finally I'm here! I should have in the grass to surprise Rainbow!" I said. Mason knocked on Rainbow's door and hid in her yard's grass. Rainbow answers the door. "Hello? Is anyone there?" Rainbow said. I sigh, "Look in the grass." I whisper. "Mason is that you?" Rainbow said. Rainbow walked closer to Mason. Mason tackles Rainbow to the ground yelling, "A wild Flareon wants to eat!" "Flareon, Espeon was trying to go somewhere to eat but you just had to tackle me and I also took 5 damage!" Rainbow said. I laughed, "I didn't know you were going to be a Pokémon!" "I didn't know you were either!" Rainbow said as she laughed. "Oh Mason, can you get off of me?" Rainbow said. "Oh yeah sorry!" I said kinda embarrassed. Mason gets off of Rainbow. "Let's get to the car and go to Starbucks!" I said hyped. "YEAH STARBUCKS!" Rainbow yelled. Mason and Rainbow ran to the car yelling "STARBUCKS STARBUCKS!" and Mason started to drive.

10 minutes later...

9:29 AM
Rainbow's POV
Rainbow and Mason arrived at Starbucks before Kate and Max and gets out of the car. "Well, Mason how much time do we have to wait before Max and Kate come?" I said impatiently. "I don't know Rainbow could be hours..." Mason said jokingly. "Oh my God!!" I yelled impatiently. Mason laughed,"Rainbow you really need a book on "How To Be Patient" like you need it really bad." Mason said. "Yeah, maybe I do need a book like that! I should get one!" I said as I buy a "How To Be Patient" book. Max and Kate finally arrived at Starbucks and got out of there car. "Look Masy! Max and Kate are finally here!" I said happily. Rainbow runs up to Max and Kate. "Hey, guys!" I said then looked at there clothes. "Oh my God you're Pokemon just like me!" I said. Mason runs up behind Rainbow out of breath and said, "and me!" Everyone looked at each other and laughed. "Hey, guys are we going to stand here and stare at each other or are we going to go inside and get coffee..." Kate said. "We are getting coffee!" Max said. "YEAH!" everyone yelled in sync. Everyone goes into Starbucks and gets in line. "What do you guys want?" The cashier asked. "I want a Triple Mocha Frappuccino" Mason said. "Umm, can I have an Iced Caffe Mocha..." Max said. "Can I Cinnamon Dolce Latte with a Berry Trio Yogurt." Kate said. Everyone looked at me. "I'll just share will Mason." I said. "Okay and that will be 6.35!" The cashier said. Mason gives the cashier the money and everyone sits at a table to wait for there food. 3 minutes later...
9:32 AM
"Here you're food and drink guys!" The waiter said with a wink at Rainbow. "Thanks" everyone almost said in sync. After the waiter left Rainbow said, "Did that bitch just wink at me?!" Everyone nodded to Rainbow's question. "Oh, hell nah!" I said. "Rainbow calm down I know he tried to flirt but calm down..." Mason said as he tried to calm Rainbow down. I sat back down and sighed, "Okay Mason, but...if he ever tries to flirt with me he is going to be in a coma." I said a little bit angrily. "Guys can we please calm down and eat!" Kate said. "Sure..." I said back. Everyone starts eating except Rainbow. "Rainbow are you okay?" Max asked. "Yeah!" I said happily. "Then why are you not eating?"  Kate asked. "I was thinking..." I said. "Thinking about..." Mason said. "Nothing..." I said with my hands covering my face. "Okay..." Mason said. Soon after Rainbow started to eat. After eating everyone went outside and joked around for a bit. "Hey, guys lets have a team Pokemon battle!" I said. "Yeah! I'm on Rainbow's team!" Mason said. "Okay then..." I said with a giggle. After the Pokemon battle...

"YES, FINALLY WE WON!" I yelled out of breath. "WOO! WE DID IT!" Mason yelled. Max, Kate, and Rainbow was nowhere to be found.
Mason's POV
"Guys?" I said. "GUYS?!" I yelled kinda worried. "Maybe they're in the car?" I questioned myself. Mason goes to the car to find Rainbow sleep in the backseat. "Aww, cute..." I whispered. Mason goes to the backseat and puts a blanket on Rainbow, "Sleep tight soon to be girlfriend Rainbow..." I whispered then kissed her forehead. Mason tried to find Max and Kate's car but they were already gone so Mason gets back in the car and starts driving. "Rainbow im going to take you somewhere lovely today and you're never going to forget it." I said with a smirk on my face.
