Our faces were so close I could smell her hypnotic perfume. I imagined myself grabbing her by the waist and pulling her into a kiss. Her small hands ran up and down my arms and chest, enjoying the kiss. She parted her lips slightly to let out a smal...
After the whole thing between Jungkook and Yoongi, we all went to stuff our faces to forget all about it. At least that is what I did. I couldn't stand the way everyone was staring at us, mostly me shoving the huge waffles into my tiny mouth.
"Aish, you're really hungry Y/n," Taehyung teased. "Be careful you could choke."
Might be better than sitting here embarrassed and in a very awkward position.
Yoongi had just confessed to me. I wasn't used to that kind of thing. Jungkook was looking at me as if I were lost to him forever. Not to mention he hadn't touched the food in front of him, a sign he was feeling down because he was always hungry. He sent Yoongi dirty looks, who was pretending he couldn't feel them. Everyone else was very quiet, speaking only about their days events and the flavor of their food.

"This fruit tastes so fresh I love it." Jin states, putting another berry into his mouth.
The table laughed, besides Jungkook and Yoongi, who were staring intently at their plates. Aish, this was bad, really bad. I had to do something and quick. I didn't want to get between them like this.
"So what's everyone's plans for today?" I asked, wiping away the sticky mess around my mouth.
Jimin, Tae, Hoseok and Jin all shrugged blatantly.
"I'm heading to the pool later," Namjoon says. "Maybe you'd like to join me?"
"Good idea," I reply. "I could go for a swim."
Jungkook raised his face to look at me and then to his phone. At that moment my phone vibrated in my pocket. Making sure Yoongi didn't see me, I quickly took the phone from my pocket to check it. Jungkook had sent me a message asking if he could meet me somewhere private. Only place private enough for me was my room, and I doubt Yoongi would let Jungkook anywhere near there again.
Once we were all finished eating and deciding on what we were all going to do, it was time to meet Jungkook. Suga had left before everyone had finished eating, excusing himself with his signature angry face. Jin reassured us he was just tired from last night and left to go film another episode of 'Eat Jin'. Jimin and Hoseok went to go shopping while Taehyung joined Namjoon poolside. Jungkook was waiting for me by the entrance, a sullen look on his face.
Jungkook's POV
Y/N had looked so cute stuffing the waffles in her cheeks like a chipmunk. Yoongi-hyung had been so mad once he found out what really went on in her room between us. I had an idea that he liked Y/N as well. She was a wonderful person, weird at times, and you couldn't help wanting to protect her. It took her a while to get up, as if deciding to meet me or not.
"I'm sorry about earlier," I said to her. "Did he hurt you?"
She shook her head quickly. "No, it just hurt in the moment, but let's get to my room so we can talk more."
I nodded, following behind her, until we reached the elevator. Once we were on her floor, we exited it, walking in silence. Maybe because we were both afraid Suga-hyung was going to find us alone together. Y/N stopped at her door for a moment before opening it and allowing me to go inside. If she was worried I was going to try something, then she was wrong.
"I'm sorry Y/N!" I said quickly. "I didn't want him find out, but Tae couldn't keep his mouth shut."
She shrugged her shoulders and laughed. "It's okay Jungkook."
Yoongi's POV
I left the table before the others so that I could go think about everything. I was in love with Y/N, but she was in love with Jungkook. I couldn't believe I had lost my temper in front of her and even hurt her in the process. She confessed to liking me though. Maybe there was a chance for him to win her heart as well. Wishful thinking on my part. What I would give to have just met her first before the maknae. The whole situation ran over in his head.
"I know you like Jungkook more, so I am prepared to wait for my chance with you." I say messing her hair. " Because eventually he will mess up badly and I will be right there to make you forget all about him."
Y/N face became shocked, but something of a spark in her eyes shone through to him. She liked him too. Maybe he did have a chance with her now if only Jungkook wasn't an obstacle. She smiled, making his heart beat so fast he thought it would pop out of his chest.
"Maybe." She says before turning around and heading to the restaurant with the others.
I was still surprised at her response. What did she mean? Aish, girls could be so confusing at times. What am I going to do to show her I'm better?

This is a small chapter, I know. I was planning on posting this yesterday and another chapter as well, but I received some very bad news. I just couldn't finish until today. I apologize if I don't post within the next few days as I will be dealing with some very emotional things. A very good friend of mine passed away unexpectedly yesterday and I am taking it very hard as well as the rest of my friends.
