Home wasn't even that exciting, it was awfully quiet to be honest. Well quit except for Meredith and Connor's not-so-hushed whispers. I was getting sick of it so I stayed upstairs for the rest of the day. They both clearly knew about the murder (possibly murders) because it was on TV. I was bored, I needed more fun. And who else was to cure my boredom other than the one and only Noah.

I decided to surprise him by dropping by, knowing that'll probably piss him off. He hates surprises. I, on the other hand, am quite fond of them. I did one thing most teenagers would do at a school night, sneak out. Meredith made it clear that everyone goes to bed at 11 or 12 but I never did. Valerie surprisingly does. I don't know about her brother, though, we aren't exactly sharing a room. I took my backpack and unzipped the bag, looking for my knife just to make sure. As I felt around, I started panicking. I couldn't find the knife. Shit. Did someone look through my bag? Was it Valerie? I need it, it's special. I looked around the bedroom as quiet as possible, trying my best to not wake Valerie up but I didn't find it. Was it under her pillow? I didn't know, and frankly I didn't want to risk it. So I went downstairs to the kitchen and opened the drawers looking for a temporary replacement and I found something good enough. I saw Meredith using it to chop the vegetables. I hate vegetables.

I took the knife and hid it in the bottom of my backpack. I take my paranoia as an advantage, knowing what to do if the thing that I feared ever happens. Being ready. Life is all about being ready. And killing. Well, at least my life. I went out from the back door, scoffing at how Meredith made it so easy. She didn't even bother to lock it. I walked there, of course. I couldn't drive and I sure as hell wouldn't try.

I finally made it to Noah's house, surprisingly knowing my way. It wasn't that far really, just a few minutes away. When I reached there, I knocked the door. I stood impatiently for a few but straightened up when I heard footsteps and the door swung open to reveal a rather large man. His beer belly was evident and his hair was barely there, he looked like a typical sleaze. Those old-school ones. Was this Noah's dad?

"And who are you?" He asked, smiling wide. His teeth were yellow and crooked. Jesus, Noah clearly didn't inherit his looks from his dad.

I smiled wide, trying so hard to cover my grimace. Honestly, I was fucking sick of smiling for no actual goddamn reason. "Delia, Noah's friend." Definitely not girlfriend.

"Huh." He said and left the door open while going inside, "Noah, get your ass down here. Your friend's here." He called out.

I entered and looked around, properly, and it was really a homey place. Other than the uncle, there wasn't anything that was out of ordinary. I didn't exactly stop to look around the last time I was here. I saw more of upstairs than downstairs.

Noah came into view. "I can hear you, I'm not deaf." He muttered, loud enough for Rotten Teeth to hear. Then he turned to me with a questioning gaze.

"Your dad?"

"Uncle, actually." Noah corrected.

"Thank God."

"What are you doing here?" He asked me.

I shrugged, "I was bored, I needed entertainment."

"Glad that I could be of service." He said sarcastically.

"Noah, let's do something. Those stupid fucks still didn't discover Austin's body and I'm bored to death at how pathetic people are being."

"We have to lay low for a while. They'll suspect."

"So?"

"So, serving years in jail won't be fun. Trust me."

"You've been to jail before?" I was interested.

"Yeah, got busted with drugs."

"Smooth."

"I don't know what exactly is your goal here and I'm really not getting it."

I rolled my eyes. "Noah, don't be a douche. Let's do something. Mess with Connor."

"Who?"

"Meredith's invisible husband. More of a follower. He's like that brunette bitch in Mean Girls. Friend's with Regina George."

Noah snorted, "What's your plan?"

"God, I don't know." I pulled my knife out of my bag, "This might be of use."

It was his turn to roll his eyes, "Lee, I'm going out."

"Whatever, just don't get Amelia pregnant." Lee answered.

I gritted my teeth, "It's Delia."

"Ignore him, let's go." Noah wrapped his hand around my arm and pulled me towards his truck. He opened the trunk and I burst out laughing at the sight of ropes, knives, nails, and all that.

"Never hurts to be prepared." Noah stated.

"I like it classic," I said. "Knives just does it for me."

"Don't you get bored?"

"I'm not exactly experienced much but I don't think I ever will get bored."

"Let's try something new for now." Noah offered.

"Like what?"

"I don't know, suffocate him with a plastic bag?"

I threw my head back and burst out laughing, not giving a shit at how loud I was being. "Yeah sure that's gonna just do it for me."

"Strangle him with a rope?"

"Yawn."

"Well what the hell do you want?"

"Knife." I state.

"Boring. How about hammering nails into his skull."

"You sadist son of a bitch, I'm in."

"That was a joke."

"Admit it, you were half-joking."

"You caught me." Noah said, raising both of his hands.
