Chapter 12 part 1

Taylors POV

Ella and I walked to water challenge talking about random events.

When we got there we walked to one of the practice courses. This was a challenge kind of like ropes where there is a challenge every 20 minutes on a bi course.

Thry were wrapping up a competition when we got there so whe had about 30 minutes. Evie and Blyn got off of their linch break and scheduling themselves with our cabin. Evie came to help me and Ella while Blyn went to find Demi.

She gave us some tips and advice, some from firsthand experience and others with secondhand experience.

We got onto the practice course. The landings were VERY slippery. I grabbed a side to hold which I guess is a normal reaction because the bar turned and I lost my grip and fell.

"This is going to be harder than I thought." I said

"Yep" Ella said

We kept moving through obstacles.

Monkey bars, lilypads, and a lot of traps.

We were coming along pretty strongly and then

Smack!

I ran into a wall, wait there wasnt a wall there a minute ago. And walls dont have arms... I thought as two arms caught me before I fell into the water.

I looked up and saw Harry smirking.

"Hey" I said standing up "what was that for?"

"You were the one who ran into me." Harry said still smirking

"Umm.. k where is Ed and the other boys?"

"Ed is with Niall and Liam at a different water venue and Louis and Zayn are here with me."

"Okay then, Im gonna go back to practicing."

I stepped around him to the next part of the obstacle course.

15 minutes later we were called to the start of the big course.

They had cages like the ones in horse races for us to get ready in. Why? No idea.

Evie looked at them strangely too.

"Do you know why we start in these?" I asked

"No not really, I would guess to stop cheaters."

We waited for the start after Evie helped us into the starters. We soon learned why there were cages.

They were counting to three and on two bucketfuls of water came crashing onto us. Everyone was slipping and sliding and a few people fell. On three only a few of us could actually get out fast.

Because this was another partner competition, Ella and I helped each other out quickly. We ran up some slippery steps to rope patterns with lilypads.

We got through that quickly and onto logs with rope patterns. it was harder because counselors were in the water shaking them. Ella and I kept flying off the log and luckily had a good hold on the ropes because we kept swinging.

I was walking on a log with Ella and we were trying to balance a little bit. We were succeeding until someone jumped on the log behind Ella. I looked back. Zayn.

He was shaking the log and if I didnt help Ella was going to fall and that would slow us down. Suddenly another person made a move to jump on from the log beside ours Zayn stopped the shaking. I saw them coming and jumped when they landed.

It had been Louis and he fell into the water so he had to go back to the start of the logs with Zayn.

Zayn was walking off and kicked it one last time. This caught Ella off guard and she was close, VERY close to falling. I caught her right before she fell.
