Pressing a hand to the bump hidden under her swing tunic, Elena's gasped in surprise today was her due date and she had a feeling that Arabella was coming right on time; she had been enjoying the warm spring sun in the garden with her family when she'd felt the twinge in her stomach.

Elena took a deep breath trying to keep calm, she didn't want to panic and scare the children who were playing happily with their father; things had been going so well recently and she wouldn't change a thing.

"Robin," Elena called softly to get her husband's attention, she smiled softly knowing that she should have known that their little girl would arrive when she was meant to.

Robin stopped what he was doing and slowly turned to look at Elena, he frowned seeing the look on her face and slowly moved away from Shaqueel to make sure that everything was okay.

"My water just broke," Elena revealed slowly, Robin stared at her for a moment not sure that he had heard her right for a moment; Elena grinned as she realised that he had frozen in shock before she got to her feet.

The couple had already packed Elena's black holdall for when she went into labour with their daughter; they had wanted to be prepared for this moment especially since they would need to get to the hospital.

"The baby's coming," Robin murmured softly making Elena nod before he pulled out his phone and called Allison and David to let them know what was happening and so they could come and watch Shaqueel and Dina.

Elena took a deep breath looking towards the children, she prayed that her parents would be able to get here quickly; she wrinkled her nose knowing that she was going to have to quickly get changed before they rushed off to hospital.

The children quickly moved inside when Robin explained what was happening, Elena tried to offer them a reassuring smile but another contraction stopped her.

Jessica flashed the couple a warm smile as she made sure that Elena was comfortable and had everything that she needed after they had given her the epidural; it was going well and baby van Persie would be here soon.

"Things seem to be moving quickly... I'll be back to see you soon," Jessica said before she left the couple alone, so that they could get comfortable for the next few hours; there was no telling how long Elena was going to be here for.

Robin shifted nervously as he sat down next to his wife; he couldn't believe that in a few hours they'd have their little girl; he started to tidy away the clothes that she had worn to the hospital wanting to keep the place tidy.

Elena took his hand in comfort before she smiled at him, she didn't want him worrying when Jessica was confident that everything was going well; they wouldn't have to really wait long before their little girl was in their arms.

"Did you tell the others?" Elena asked making Robin nod as he kissed her head, he was worried about something going wrong; Elena's pregnancy had been stressful and he wanted his little girl to be okay.

The couple had done everything they could to make sure that the final few weeks were as relaxing and calm as possible for Elena; they wanted nothing more than to make sure that their daughter was born healthy.

"I did... plus I mentioned it on twitter, thought that I might get the news out before the press do it for us," Robin murmured making Elena nod in agreement, she was already five centre metres dilated and she'd only been in labour for around an hour now.

They doubted that they would have to wait long before their little girl was really ready to get out of there, they just had to wait until the right moment and Elena was more than prepared.
