Allison sniffed watching her only daughter pack the last of her things away so that she could travel down to Manchester to be with her husband; Elena smiled softly at her mother as she closed her suitcase.

"I can't believe your moving away," Allison cried staring at Elena for a moment, she had taken the day off work so that she could say goodbye to her only child before she moved away.

Elena swallowed thickly, blinking back her own tears as she thought about leaving her home in London; this wasn't like when she had gone to live in Rotterdam for a year, she was starting her life over in Manchester.

David walked into the room carrying Dina, he sighed as he spotted Allison started to cry; he set down the little girl down on the bed before he moved to comfort his wife, he knew that this was hard on them all.

Allison pushed David away in favour of hugging their daughter making the children giggle as David pouted at the fact that his wife had pushed him away.

Elena's parents had taken it in their stride in becoming grandparents to their daughter's step-children; they knew that they needed to make an effort to bond with their family even if they were moving away.

"I'll miss so much of your pregnancy," Allison cried making Elena pull away from her mother and stare at her shocked; she hadn't expected her mother to know about her pregnancy, she had wanted to wait a little longer before she told anyone.

Elena took a deep breath, there was no point in denying that she was pregnant not when her mother already knew; she was just going to have to deal with the fact that her parents knew that she was going to have a baby.

"I'm eight weeks," Elena confirmed knowing that she shouldn't be surprised that her mother knew that she was pregnant; her mother was a midwife and the brunette knew that she would want to be there.

"Why didn't you tell us?" David asked while Dina and Shaqueel cuddled Elena as she moved to sit on the bed, there was no hiding it now and was a little disappointed that Robin wasn't there for this moment.

Elena wrapped her arms around the children, she was a little happy that she had people to talk to about her pregnancy; she was going to have a baby in April of the next year.

"We wanted to wait until my first trimester was over before we told anyone but the cat is out of the bag now," Elena explained while her parents beamed at the thought of their first biological grandchild; Dina cuddled into the brunette's side while Shaqueel rested a hand on her stomach.

David watched Elena with a smile, he had never thought that she would be this happy and marrying Robin was clearly something that had made her happy; he couldn't imagine that she would have been this happy with Lucas.

"Do you have a midwife yet?" Allison asked excited making Elena stare at her mother slightly weird out, she loved her mother but she wasn't about to let her deliver her unborn child and see her lady parts.

Allison rolled her eyes at the look on her daughter's face, she didn't know what the problem was; she did this all the time and she wanted to be a part of Elena's pregnancy.

"It's nothing I haven't seen before," Allison soothed making David chuckle as he collected Elena's suitcase and took it downstairs; he couldn't believe that he was going to be a grandfather.

Elena took a deep breath, she looked at her mother knowing that it wouldn't be long now before she left all of this behind and she hoped that everything was going to be okay; she couldn't imagine how her life was going to change.

Standing at London Euston train station, Elena sniffed while she hugged her mother and tried to hold back tears; the rest of her stuff was with the movers and would arrive later that day while she and the children travelled by train.
