Rogue's POV : The Hare and The Fox

(A/N) : WARNING! I'm sorry but this chapter contains a tiny bit of strong language ahead. Brace yourselves.

"She's inside. I repeat, the Hare is inside the den. Over"

Bzzt... " Don't get caught. This is an order. Put the hare in the sack. Leave the fox alone. He's dangerous. And don't leave a single strand of hair. Do you copy? Over"

" Yes Sir. Over"

No CCTVs, no lawn security, no pets. All the lights are out. My men had checked before and found out that the hare and the fox didn't live together. They are merely acquaintances.

I sneaked through the steps, it's much safer than sneaking through the lawn, shoeprints are intorelable for this job. As soon as we reached the front door, we're clear.

Boss had told me not to break the door open, so we'll have to cut through the hinges and install it back to where it belongs after we're through. But that's my men's job, I'm here for the hare, after all.

I sneaked up the stairs, eyes open. I need to make sure she's asleep, or else it won't be pretty. Turned my head to find the hare, asleep below her blanket, unaware of what'll happen to her next. Poor little belle.

I took out a syringe from the bag. It's gonna sting so bad but the pain won't last, I thought, staring pitily at the hare. Damn, I really need to focus.

Finally, the pointy end of the syringe sunk through her beautiful neck. Sleep tight, Princesse.

" Boss, I got her. Over"

Bzzt.. " Good. Don't let your guards down, Rogue. Bring her over safely and carefully. Over"
Bzzzz....

" The hare is in the sack. Over"

"....."

Silence. That says boss is patiently waiting for our catch. That also means we cannot fail this mission.

The girl is literally inside the sack, asleep and breathing normally after the dose of tranquilizer kicked in. My men took the girl downstairs to transfer her to boss. I was checking around every corner of the room for signs we may accidentaly leave when a heavy shout came from downstairs.

" HEY!"

I know that voice.

I rushed downstairs to see my men froze at the sight of a man blocking the entrance. Clearly they're not expecting a midnight visit, so was I.

" THE HELL, FREY!?"

Shit. The fox is here, now looking at the sack in shock.

"Tell your men to drop the girl and GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE. She's mine"

A reunion. How nostalgic. I've no time for this.

" Yours? I thought I was yours, Josh" I said sarcastically. " What are you doing here in the middle of the night for?"

" Was. Not anymore, and that's my question"

Bzzt.......

I ran out of time. I'll take the girl, but not tonight.

" SCREW YOU JOSH" and with my swear, I took my leave. Boss is gonna kill me. Bordel de merde!

" ...Nice to meet you too, Frey"
