Luke's POV:
"No, I'm not always like this. I just intend on this being our last meeting."
"I don't," I mutter to myself.
"What?"
"Nothing," I grin. "Bye, Lottie."
Charlie leaves and I begin to think. What is it about her? She's kinda weird. It makes her different from other girls.
"Luke!" Xander, who has apparently been trying to talk to me for like a minute, yells. "What the hell are you staring at, man? And wipe that stupid grin off your face."
Have I been grinning? At what? Weird.
"Dude, you gotta stop that. It's freaking me out."
I turn to Xander. "Do you believe in love at first sight?"
"What? No. Of course not. More like lust at first sight."
I nod. Maybe. But I don't think so. Sure she's got an amazing body and all, but it's her personality that makes her stand out. That's what I like about her.
"I'm going to the grocery store," I announce.
