👑Jugheads Point Of View ~

Usually I wouldn't have agreed to go on a fishing trip but it looks like I have nothing better to do. It was nice that Archie thought of me. But I was slightly apprehensive about third wheeling with him and Veronica, but I agreed nonetheless.

"Your going to love my lake house Jughead, and I'm going into Betty's room to get my dress she stole" Veronica laughed which made me laugh.

"Do not touch her dresser she'll go nuts if her makeup isn't set out perfectly!" I shouted to her.

"Oh I won't don't worry I have suffered the wrath of Elizabeth and her OCD" she giggled and shut the door behind her.

I went in to pack a few changes of clothes and my tooth brush and shower gel and stuff like that and when I came down stairs Ronnie wasn't there.

"Where's V?" I asked Archie.

"Gone to start the car, you ready bro?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm just going to lock up" I said taking the keys from the hook.

"This is going to be dope" he beamed as we got the elevator down to the Parking lot.

"Hopefully" I smiled at him as the elevator ping and saw Ronnie beep the horn at us.

I got into the back seat of the car and took my phone out sending Betty a text which I knew she wouldn't reply to but I felt obliged to let her know.

I won't be back for a few days just incase you come back to the apartment x

The x on the end was unnecessary but I couldn't help it, and much to my surprise she answered almost immediately.

And I left it at that, she's still mad and I can't blame her to be honest.

I sat back into the seat and out my headphones in leaning against the window and waiting out this 5 hour car journey.

🦄Betty's Point Of View~

I was driving up to ronnies lake house whilst Cheryl and Toni sat in the back canoodling. They were so cute it made me sick, and jelous.

It was 3pm and we wouldn't get there till eight so I tried to focus on the road and not let the couple in the backseat enter my mind or the fact that Jughead has gone somewhere with god knows who.

I bet you he's sleeping around because he can't handle a relationship, probably some tart from his gang. It infuriated me so I pushed my foot down on the gas driving a lot faster than I should be.

A weekend away os going to relax me and give me the headspace I need. Hopefully.

I checked the signs every time we went past one and they assured me we were three hours away by the time Cheryl decided to look up from Toni to me.

"Next stop I'll drive" Toni offered.

"Okay I'm pretty hungry and I need to pee" I chuckled.

"I'm down for food" Cheryl replied.

"Next gas station is three miles away so we'll go there" Toni pointed at the sign we just zoomed past.

"I can't wait to go to bed" I sighed.

"When we get there you won't want to sleep" Cheryl laughed.

"What does that even mean" I raised my eyebrows at her in the mirror.
