"So what did you need to talk about?" I asked after a minute of silence. "Well when I made you my assistant, some of our enemies have found out and know about you and you are in danger. You need to stay somewhere where people can protect you" He answered.
My eyes widened and I was suddenly very alert and awake. "Where? I have nowhere else" I said, panicking slightly. "My house" he stated. I looked at him and raised my eyes brows. "But that's... I..." I stuttered.
"You don't have a choice. We need to start packing now" he said and got up. I didn't say anything because I was still in shock. This would be so awkward! I kinda have feelings for him and I'm not gonna deny it any longer but this is waaaay too much. What am I gonna do?
We packed up some of my clothes and all of my toiletries and such and he said that we will come back for the rest tomorrow. I didn't say much. I loved my apartment. Sure it was small and basic but I still loved it.
We put my bags in teh trunk of Grayson's Range Rover and stared driving. We weren't going to the house where I used to work at. We were driving for around 20 minutes and of course the houses turned into mansions and got better and better the further we went. He was one of the richest men in America and not to mention one of the youngest, most richest person in the world.
We soon pulled up to a huge, beautiful mansion. He has lots of houses and surprisingly, this isn't even the best (image in media). My eyes were still glued to the giant house in front of me. I'm going to live here! I told myself over and over in my head.
"Come on" Grayson chuckled and nodded his head to the door. "Wait. Let me just get my stuff" I said and walked to teh trunk. He started laughing and I looked at him weirdly, confused. "Leave it. I'll have Edward take them soon. Let me show you around" he said and held out his hand which I hesitantly took.
I hadn't seen Edward for a while so it's good that I could see him soon. It was still so weird that Grayson was being so nice to me and it made me really happy (No sh*t).
He shown me around and we got to my room. He opened the door and my jaw dropped. It was amazing. It was mostly white and pretty basic but very modern and I loved it. "Do you like it?" he asked slightly worried.
"I love it!" I said and he smiled and nodded. "So obviously you have your own bathroom and the walk in closets in here" he said walked to a door and opening it to reveal a closet bigger than my future.
I looked around for a minute and he said he would have Edward come up now. We went out of my room although I wanted to see Edward and went down the hall a few more doors. He pointed to the end one and said that it was his room and if I needed anything he would either be there or in his office which was on teh opposite end of the hall.
"You can go to your room now if you want. I'll be in my office for a while" he said before walking to his office. "Grayson" I stopped him and he turned. "Thank you" I said gratefully. He nodded with a small smile and continued walking.
"Edward!" I shouted and scared him as he was in my room, putting down one of my bags. "Kayla! I've missed you" he said and gave me a little hug. He was a really nice guy. "Well it's only been a few weeks but still" he added and I smiled.
