I didn't really do anything interesting for the rest of the night. I just made my dinner and watched TV and Netflix as per. I texted some of my friends because I hadn't talked to any of them for quite a while which was strange and I didn't know why. We arranged to hang out soon and I went to bed early because I was bored.
I woke up at 7 and began to get ready. I remembered Grayson told me to dress casual and comfy so I wore some leggings with a grey jumper and white converse with a beanie (in media). I applied a natural, light look of makeup after brushing my teeth and having a wash and then made some Nutella pancakes.
I left at 8:30 so quickly got his Starbucks and drove to meet him in the office. I go there 5 minutes early and he was sat at his desk as usual. He got up and smiled slightly.
"Ready to go?" he asked as he took his drink from my hands. "Yeah. Where are we going?" I asked curiously. "You'll see" he said plainly and we got to his black Range Rover. We drove for a while and I was listening to the radio that was playing faintly in the background while zoning out. I didn't realise we had stopped until he said my name.
"We're here" he said and we both got out. I looked at the building that was in front of us and the sign read 'Shooting Range'. I looked at him with my mouth slightly open. He raised his eyebrows and nodded his head, gesturing for me to follow him in.
"Mr Dolan" the man immediately greeted, nervous. He nodded and walked to him. He got us a gun each and we went to the range. I was shaking with nerves and excitement. He handed me the gun and I took it carefully making him chuckle and stand right behind me. I could feel his presence on my back and shivered slightly but thankfully he didn't notice.
"Want me to go first?" he asked. I nodded and he stepped in front of me in the position to shoot.
He fired three shots with out effort and they all hit the body sheet in the head and chest. My mouth once again fell open and he smiled, trying to stop himself from laughing. "How did you do that?" I asked in shock.
"Practice" he shrugged, still looking at me and fired a last shot which landed in the middle of the forehead and I was speechless. "What the f-" I cut my self off. He smirked and stepped behind me again so he was pressed back against me and brought my hands up and adjusted my hands so I was holding the gun and standing right.
"So you just have to relax and focus on your breathing for a second. Being nervous won't help when you are put in a dangerous situation. You have to be aware and ready" he began and I nodded slightly. His head was right next to mine soo he was saying it in my ear.
"Make sure your breathing is steady and not too high and focus but not too much" he added and after a few seconds, I shot twice at the sheet. I hit it in the lower chest and stomach. "Not bad. That was actually really good for your first try" he said impressed. I smiled and smirked to myself and we went again but this time a little more accurate.
After a while, we finished up and he drove me back to my apartment but he stopped me before we got out. I turned to him and his eyes were piercing into mine. "I have something for you" he said. I was curious and maybe a little happy and excited for the millionth time today.
He reached in the back seat and pulled out a white box with an unfamiliar logo on it. I opened it and it was a Glock 32 in chrome with extra bullets and mags. "Oh my god! Thank you" I said, hugging him without realising and he stiffened. I quickly pulled away and coughed awkwardly and to my surprise, he was yet again fighting a smile.
"Well, you're in the business and it will come in handy in the next few days. I will train you tomorrow so meet me again at 9" he said and we said our goodbye's in the car because he had something to do.
