The Greatest of These is Love

This humble piece of poetry is addressed to everyone but especially those who forget all true religion teaches love and compassion. I hope you all understand the message I am trying to get at.

Constantly criticized,

Many we stand tall as one;

Called corrupted and always scrutinized,

Despite our philosophy to love everyone.

The critics, ignorant, keep on ranting;

And they forget it is love we try to teach,

Let the world forgive everything

Seen as wrongs, hear my outreach.

Don’t criticize something you do not understand,

And keep love for all in your heart,

Your mind and compassion, expand.

Let us all have a new beginning and restart,

And try to further your respect

Of mankind of which you are a part,

And remember no one is perfect.
